Top scorer in the Conference North for Solihull Moors. Scored yesterday for England C. Only 21 years of age. Might already being scouted by higher clubs and would be surprised if Clarke wasn't already aware of him but just thought I would bring him to our attention. Signed for Grimsby today! Why the ! Grimsby are still a Conference side so it's not as if he's signed for a league rival? Don't forget Goldberg was decent at Conference South level but did little in the Conference nor Div 2.

You really like dragging up old threads, don't you? Well I could have started a new thread. Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Didn't see anything special in him really - 1st goal was an own goal his header was going no where near goal until it hit the back of Darren Carters head - admit he took the 2nd well on the rebound but didn't see a MOM performance over the 90 mins. He only got the award for the goals.
Paul Hurst has just said MOM was FGRs Marsh-Brown in his eyes and reckon that's a fair shout

Nathan Arnold is to good for them, thought it last year, still think it now Marsh-Brown scored a tidy goal as well. Bogel doesn't look as good as John Lewis last season and apart from tearing us apart at the Mem seems to have done little, has he only scored 3 goals for Newport all season.

Marsh-brown could be a great player if he wasn't such a prick, funnily enough the first thing I thought about bogle was "not as good as John-Lewis" he should have stayed with Grimsby, Newport was a bad move

It's not as if he's been banging them in for fun all season and we've missed out on a huge talent though?

It's not as if he's been banging them in for fun all season and we've missed out on a huge talent though? Maybe, but 15 goals in 30 starts for a 22 year old in his first season as a pro is not to be sneezed at. I expect he's got plenty of improvement left in him.

im happy to see old threads brought back,it might make my opinions look good or stupid but if we express opinions why shouldnt we expect to be laughed at if there proved wrong or revel in warm smugness if they are shown to be correct, bring on the old threads i say
