Watching the pre match on Huddersfield vs forest, Danny Cowley on there. If BG was to leave us, and given WAQ wanting a man to lead the project and play exciting football, how many feel the Cowleys could be a missed opportunity should they go elsewhere while we pursue a positive outcome with 'garnerball'? I'm not saying Garner shouldn't get time, he should, I just feel these guys have proven their ability to do exactly what WAQ seems to want!

Both would want out following an away one nil victory at Ipswich. What’s the point? End of thread. Actually it’s not end of thread, anyone else sick of all this b0ll0x now?

I do like the Cowley's, and they did a fantastic job at Lincoln. However, I'm not sure if their brand of football is what anyone would call "exciting"? They play very direct from what I've heard, and the Huddersfield fans seemed to be quite displeased with their style of play under them.

Their style sounds the complete opposite of Garner's. While I'm not a fan of Garner, it would be crazy to totally dismiss the philosphy after bringing in the players to suit that style.

Are we actually anything different at the moment?
Pre-season we played the ball about nicely, but in the competitive games so far we only seem to get over the half way line by playing the ball long.
Having said that, I still feel that Charles Hughes was on to something with POMO. I'd rather that than pretending to be Barcelona, but actually being Swindon Town.

We're a nothing team at the moment IMO which is even worse.

Too many long balls and misplaced passes at the moment for my liking.

I think the style that most suits the players we’ve got isn’t the style Garners trying to get us playing but there you go. Different opinions .

Just noticed that we now have more league wins than our three ex-managers in league 2 put together. Yep, BG now has pretty much the same record as GC “at a club that is going places” that he left us for, in the league below.
