It may be disrespectful to BG, discussing our next manager, but to me it is inevitable and only a matter of time. Feel pure sh it just want DC back.

Am I missing something. Are they not the managers of a championship club. Why on earth would they come here? Probably cos they are out of work. But they might have eyes on a bigger club but you never know if they can be sold a vision by Wael and with the training ground. The question is would Wael abandon the idea of a Garner-like figure and go for the Cowley’s? I worry that he’s still seduced by the idea of an obscure nobody with big ideas and has been researching the academies and will find Garner Mk II and invite an application from him. We didn’t know we were born with Coughlan and I’d like to think that a horrible bastard who rubs the fans up the wrong way but gets results would have everyone behind them. Perhaps Garner’s main use will serve as a warning to the fans of “careful what you wish for” in future if we have winning goofball again. I for one would love to see us hit a long punt followed by a scrappy toe poke to win 1-0.

Flynn at Newport?
A tough, no-nonsense bloke who’s done great stuff there on a small budget & is also getting his side to play decent football this season.

Does seem a lack of managers around that could be tempted.

With the players we've got at the moment, Mark Robins would take some beating If only ✍️

At least all the fans that weren’t happy with being 4th in league 1 under Coughlan have got their wish , a manager who wants us to play pretty football. No doubt if it wasn’t for Covid then we’d be getting much bigger crowds than we were under Coughlan as there were Plenty in here saying that they can’t watch that , need to get rid bring in a proper manager not a PE teacher etc. Must be delighted with how things have gone ? No ? Well we’re not Man Dam City and we were never going to get Gaurdiola.

Unless you are paying big bucks to get Championship quality players, playing a slick, passing game isn’t going to be successful in the lower leagues. Trollope tried it after Lennie and we all know how that ended.

It’s been said many times he needs wins and he’s not getting them. The longer he goes without them the pressure increases. There will come a tipping point, now or October or later when it will become inevitable. UTG!

We should have acted last February/March when it was clear he wasn’t getting results. Performances and results have been appalling throughout his tenure. If it goes down to points per game this season, which looks likely, we could well be kicking ourselves that we waited until October to make the decision. Our new manager (when not if) is already going to have a serous battle on their hands to rectify this mess.

Michael Duff from Cheltenham would be a good appointment. This would be my choice.

Quick, get out and stockpile some toilet roll, those of you that are so thick you couldn’t find your arse with both hands.

I think the season will be suspended in the next few weeks and will most likely be declared null : void whatever it’s called. It was fair enough how they ended it last season we were two thirds through but I don’t think we’ll get that far this season. Strange times.
