There is a pandemic, but the rate is relatively low in Bristol.
This isn't up for debate. It's not a matter of opinion. It's not about agendas. It's not about freedom of speech.
I will ban anyone who tries to spread misinformation about the pandemic.
No joke. You will be banned.
Can we spread misinformation about the Presidential debate that takes place later tonight (2am BST)?

Yeah, but you'd have to do it in General Chat. Does anyone actually use that? Only if you use words of more than one syllable

Yeah, but you'd have to do it in General Chat. Does anyone actually use that? Feel free to join in, but I have to warn you what is seen cannot be unseen.

Sorry - not sure what you mean. #political 😉 Bristol had 16 cases of coronavirus in a population of 500,000. That made front-page news. There is no pandemic, just a political exercise Just because the Bristol Post is sensationalist clickbait doesn't mean there isn't a pandemic. Stop spreading misinformation -AFWow - what happened to free speech ? 🤔

And it's not about General Chat coz you can say more or less what you want there, too, if you can be arsed to click the screen an inch or two lower than normal. This is about proboards policy: support.proboards.com/thread/661355/covid-19-global-health-emergencyAnd even if it weren't it would still have to be moved to General Chat.

It does seem we're lucky to have Wael at a difficult time like this.

Any more discussion of the pandemic not directly concerning football should go in General ChatWhy can't any natural debate take its due course on this forum and not be moved due to a Moderator's own Opinion..? The two - Bristol Rovers FC/The future of League Clubs,as well as C19 should be able to be mixed in any debate on here without the need to be moved.

In most cases I have seen Moderators have taken action to move discussions to a more appropriate section of the forum, requested that posters moderate their language or the abuse of others or where posters have posted (mis)information that could be considered contrary to law. I have seen very few if any cases where the moderator has acted in their own interest. Moderators have to mindful of the rules of the forum board, and the laws of the land. If a poster wants to debate the merits of the Covid crisis there are a plethora of forums and social media sites on offer and if they believe it to be tosh there are conspiracy sites, tin foil gatherers and flat earth society sites to meet their need.
This is a forum for Rovers fans and if it strays into areas close to the law then it will be moderated. If you want to debate the merits of past and present Rovers owners I am sure your post will be welcome and unmoderated.....
PS I am not a moderator on this forum
