if we win convincingly tommorow will the Garner out lot change their minds and back him? No chance. If we won 5-0 they will be asking why it wasn't 8-0.

Nothing wrong with a bit of optimism, I'm on the glass half full side myself but it will still take some convincing for me that Garner is the one to really take us forward with his record so far. Here's hoping that starts to happen this month.

You seem to be sitting on the fence, what do you believe will happen? I believe that if we loose tomorrow BG will not be in danger of losing the support of the fanbase but also his credibility amongst some of the squad and where does he go from there. I hope I am proved wrong I believe BG and the team will come good I believe the team could come good, but never with BG in charge. Stats and 27 games tell us this.He talks a great game but he seems clueless to get the basics right.

Call me stupid, call me insane, but I'm still a believer.... This month will be a game changer. You’ve started early! Personally I don’t watch “Miracle on 34th Street” until sometime after Guy Fawkes night. However I applaud your blind faith in the potential of the latest project, even if it is the product of a delusional episode and despite the overwhelming empirical evidence to the contrary. So, in the spirit of the aforementioned film: You better watch out 👀 You better not cry 😢 You better not pout 😙 I'm telling you why Garnerball is coming to (Northampton) town ⚽️ 🥅 He's making a list, 📝 He's checking it twice, ✅ ✅ Wael’s gonna stick his nuts in a vice 😉 Garnerball is coming to (Northampton) town. ⚽️🥅 UTG

I want to believe.
I really hope we put in a performance to be proud of and get a winning result.
But for the o p and some out there, that's all we have left is hope and trying to believe..... and that seems to be knocked out of many more of us as the season progresses..

Way I look at it, those on here that are saying give BG more time as he has only now got his own team and still trying to embed his new ideas, ethos and culture seem to forget that others can still do that with the same players. If Wael wants this revolution, just employ another manager that offers the same vision and principles. We won promotion in 2004 by a new manager taking over the reins of good players that could not play as a team so why can’t someone else do the same now. Thanks BG for clearing the crap and instilling the infrastructure - now here’s your taxi

Another rollicking success per the BRFC model.

To be honest I’m more Garner out than in, but I honestly think a win could give us a boost to push on from. With how things are looking and the possibility of the season getting cancelled again I’d be reluctant to sack him unless we’re really in trouble.

Go on then, I'm game. I'll believe. We're going to do it. We're going to win tomorrow and finish second this season. If we don't believe it why should the players? I'm in. Let's do this. Here we go then. That's the first of those two things done. Watch this space.

The funny thing is that confidence is such an important factor in the game - especially with a young team and if the mantra of “ I believe” is genuine than we wil rise up the league. It was always going to take time for a new team to gel and whilst they may well train together well - that is totally different from being in a combat situation where the opponents are after you harder than any practice simulation. A single mistake followed by another and suddenly they start to doubt everything they are being taught which undermines the hard work put in behind the situation. The starting block for any recovery was going to be a tight defence and let’s hope that yesterday was a sign of things to come .

The next six League matches
Lincoln Burton Shrewsbury Accrington Hull Rochdale
I think we should be aiming for at least 12 points.
Anyone else think it's possible?

Not sure this league is that strong, the two favoured teams, Sunderland and Ipswich we competed with and only dropped points in the last 10 minutes. Doncaster, second half, was the horror show. No reason why we can’t get 12 but I suppose no reason why we end up with 4 or 6 either. 😉 UTG!
