I had a “To the occupier” letter arrive this morning. Opened it up and it’s from Bristol City and Mansion - obviously went straight in the bin!

"There is only one team in Bristol, but this season is not just about City. Although it's almost two decades since the Blue Few were above us in the league, they might win promotion from League One this season. Perhaps that team from Wiltshire will finish above them?" What a weird and pathetic approach to marketing.

I had a “To the occupier” letter arrive this morning. Opened it up and it’s from Bristol City and Mansion - obviously went straight in the bin! I received a letter too. I actually wouldn't care If it was just about the city side of things, if anything what a good way to keep/get in touch with supporters and Bristol in general if it was just about city and latest updates. But as someone who has struggled with gambling problems in the past and in no way shape or form gave consent for MansionBet or any other betting company to send me promotions, I’m disappointed that this letter which is nothing more than a MansionBet promotion, has somehow gotten through the rules and regulations around betting companies sending you marketing information without the individual’s consent.

It's kinda extraodrinary how, with so little they've achieved, having a bit of money has taken away what little class they may have had. In fact pretty much their entire identity these days seems to be they are 'considerably richer than yowwww.'

They’ve learnt nothing from the Snake debacle where they made themselves look like complete and utter twats. Not only that, they’re now employing the language used by the cretins on OTIB.

Problem gambling is a major issue. I would report this to the relevant commission and your MP. This is nothing to do with it being about City - it's about the gambling aspect.

Had my plain brown envelope through the post today. Rang Mansion Bet and shouted at a manager for sending me unsolicited mail and explicitly told them to never send me anything again and have also made a complaint to the ASA regarding the fact that if McDonalds can't advertise on TV before 9pm then it is disgusting that Gambling Companies are able to advertise through my door unsolicited. www.asa.org.uk/make-a-complaint.html

Pathetic wording - cheap dig - embarrassing. Mine's gone out in the post (no stamp) to The Chief Exec, BS3.

Rovers aren't even competition really but all this is still getting their name out there.
Both my kids go to school in North Bristol (different schools) yet only City seem to offer after-school activities and/or free matchday tickets
