Ok just watched it. Couldn’t earlier as I was in the office. I err... think it’s brilliant! Fair play to him and Bristol. Great achievement, as for his comments? Just banter ffs.

Don’t care about it if I’m honest.
In what should be the best moment of his career, in a sport where there is no rovers or city and he’s still mentioning us? They’re completely obsessed.

Not exactly a great orator is he, how very inarticulately put. Just yet another obsessed, mentally deficient Ted. 🥱

No point in getting wound up - Bloke comes across as a complete fool.
Think he realises it as well and leaves the interview early .... Great way to alienate some of your fanbase ... Well Done Lad!!

What a plonker, on one of the best moments of his career he has a dig at the gas, does he not realise that a fair number of Bristol rugby fans that pay his wages are gasheads.

Biggest thing he’ll ever win and he still has to mention us.
The Gas living rent free in his head, with planning permission to build an extension.

You mean to tell me that in the midst of winning a European trophy a Bristol rugby player actually has on his mind the fortunes of Bristol Rovers FC ? unbelievable Jeff! What is the matter with these Bristol sport people? They have every advantage going for them , Money , Facilities, and every thing else yet they are still worried , bothered , about little old Bristol Rovers! Typical spoilt little rich kid syndrome i suppose! I think the late ,great Gordon Bennett put it best 'We at Bristol Rovers are very proud of the fact that we always pay our debts'. I think as an enterprise they need to take a good look at themselves in the mirror and how they conduct themselves , that unsavoury nature was evident in the Barnsley game with the gamesman ship over the penalty when both kicker and spot were got at, it did not go unnoticed by the watchers at large, and did nothing to enhance the way they are viewed in the wider sporting world, i am just so happy to be a supporter of Rovers and the evidence of the culture that rules at Bristol Sport only goes to prove i made the right choice ,thank goodness!

His dad is a friend of mine and known his mum since she was a child, as she is my best buddies younger sister. Just a bit of banter while on a high, believe me he is a sound lad and we're all pretty proud of him in Southmead.

Well said Mead.
I support Bristol, as well as the Gas, and watch a lot of local rugby too, Southmead more than anyone else, as they’re closest. Up there on the line, there are Rovers and City fans watching. All just a bit of a laugh that’s all.

I’ve not watched it and no intention to. I understand why some would think it’s just banter, but there is no Bristol Rovers rivalry so what is he really saying? “In your face, your local rival rugby team has won a competition you didn’t enter in a sport you don’t play!” Err, yeah, that’s really told us that has. I’m positively bereft.

Bit unfair that he’s allowed to play Rugby, the extra fingers must be a big advantage.
