van Stappershoef 3 - should have had one experienced back-up goalkeeper as opposed to three inadequate backups
Ehmer 4.5 - did not act like a leader and a number of errors
Baldwin 4 - too many basic mistakes
Harries 4 - too many basic mistakes
Hare 4 - did not do much
Grant 5.5 - good goal. Lots of effort and worked hard but careless a lot of the time
Westbrooke 2 - oh dear. So much talent but wasn't up for a battle.
McCormick 4.5 - tried hard but lacked quality
Koiki 3.5 - looked poor in defence and only occasionally effective going forward
Oztumer 5 - good in patches but blown way by the conditions
Hanlan 5.5 - our only threat. Think that he could of got to Madden for the second goal if he had not been ball watching
Subs: Nicholson 5 - sublime assist for our goal but unacceptable schoolboy defending for their third and gave away an unecessary penalty for the fourth. Garner's fault. He is not a wing back
Daly 3 - suprised as I thought that the conditions would suit him however totally ineffective
Tutonda 4 - no impact

I was concerned at the start - Kilogur, Nicholson, Daly and Tutonda all on the bench !! Then we had our bonkers tactics of playing short goal kicks against that wind and rain in the first half. 0- 2 down at ht and a mountain to climb. We scored with practically our only incisive move of the game.

Ehmer 5 below par Baldwin 5 as Ehmer Harries 4 headless chicken Hare 5 nowhere near his earlier form Grant 5 good goal and involved in the only bit of quality all afternoon. Westbrooke 4 seemed to be missing for long periods McCormick. 4 ran around but no end product. Koiki 5 not sure he's ready yet. Oztumer 4 back to the lacklustre form. Hanlan 6 worked hard with no service, Subs: Nicholson 5 why doesnt he start games, ? Daly 4 he was on a hiding to nothing. Tutonda 4 same as Daly Ref 6 ok but lenient with Fleetwoods strongarm tactics Fleetwood 7 too strong,too street wise, it was men against boys. |

Koiki 4 rightly subbed. Can't see the fuss..
Oztumer 4.5 yet to reach previous heights.
Hanlan 6 tried hard but F had him sorted..... because it was basically 4 on 1 as he's only striker starting....?
Subs: Nicholson 5 had a great hand in the goal but horribly played out of position..
Daly 4.5 head on things but created nothing.
Tutonda 4 game over by then.
Ref 6.5 gave Hanlan nothing, but got most the bug decisions correct including a booking for kicking ball away in second half!...
Fleetwood 7 run of the mill top ten team exhibiting classic 3rd division tactics and we had no answer. They deserved their win, we got all basics wrong to hand them an easy win as they just took advantage of everything that went their way.
So, BG relieved of duties. Thank f for that. 7 months too late for me..... we've lost potential to recruit Cloughie or anyone whom could have recruited in transfer window. We had opportunity, we didn't take it and have to settle for second best.
The next appointment is crucial. Make or break..
