we've got a ready made manager in chris hargreaves he has managed before,knows how our beloved club runs. when he is on bt sports has always come across as a perfect gentleman and i believe he has the experience to lead us on to better things so please wael do not spend excessive amounts giving an outsider the chance to mess up again give the job to chris Not a bad shout , he’s always impressed me. |

I feel dirty just reading those words. He is a squeaky little dwarf but he got the sh** out of L1 and kept them in the playoffs in the Championship. Take away the association with the Franchise and he would be a serious contender. Pretty sure he had the biggest budget in the league when he got them promoted. Not something he’d ever get at the Gas |

For me I'm not overly fussed who the manager is as long as they continue the ethos of developing young players, can get us to be more consistent in our performances and get us wins, keep us playing passing football but with greater penetration and helps cut out the individual player mistakes

No - personally post BG I think we need league one experience and a period of stability not another experiment. There are plenty would like her to be running the FA which in itself would be a bold step, just wondered if anyone would want their own club to be that bold and forward thinking? So never a serious suggestion then, if so why suggest her? If so why bring her into the debate, I could say Paolo Di Canio but we all know that isn’t serious. Just because it’s not my choice why shouldn’t she be brought into the debate? Probably the most experienced and qualified female manager and there is widespread clamour for football to be more representative of our society. Surely we can’t just expect other football clubs or organisations to be progressive and more inclusive if we are not prepared to do so ourselves? It will happen one day. |

Murray didn't ask if he'd be interested per se but asked in essence (paraphrasing) "is it a good opportunity or a poisoned chalice?"... Flynn said "they'll have aspirations of the Championship and for the size of the club, that's what they should be aiming for. Just depends if they'll back the manager and give him time."
