With the change in formation, Hare and Tutonda are staying back even more. None of Harries, Grant nor Upson are forward enough leaving us struggling to put any attacking moves together.
Don't mind the formation change, but would prefer even Hargreaves in for any of those midfield three.

That play from McCormick just sums it up. No one seemed bothered to try and make a run - there is absolutely no energy or fight. Honestly it looks like we're playing a friendly. We wanted to move away from Coughlan’s hungry battler style of player. This is what happens when you do I guess. |

It’s just not our best 11 IMO. I would rather have Grant over Harries as a defensive midfielder, Westbrooke over Upson in midfield and Oztumer over McCormick as an attacking midfielder. Nicholson isn’t a striker either.
Surprised Tisdale hasn’t made a sub yet.

I cannot beleive im about to say this... but I actually think we'd have played better under Garner than we have done today But surely that’s like saying “this sh** sandwich tastes better than that one because it’s got hundreds and thousands on it”. It might perhaps be starting to become clear that whilst off the pitch things have improved in recent times on the pitch things are are just a total mess at the club in terms of recruitment and manager selection. Although let’s see what Tisdale can do with this lot by Christmas. |
