Surely the amount of fans will be determined by the capacity and nature of the venue though.... I don't want to come across as a doom merchant but 4000 socially distanced in Ashton gate is easier than 2000 socially distanced at the mem!? Came here to say this. The 4/2k numbers are maximums and will be applicable mainly to prem/championship teams. In our league only the likes of Sunderland will be able to take full advantage.
I'm a ST holder and I'll be annoyed if myself and my family don't make the cut but it isn't all or nothing. Anyone in is good for the team.
It would be interesting to see how some of the mouthier patrons where I stand behave when they are a bit more exposed!

I don’t think it’s about where you’re from, more where the team is located... But then you'd have the possibility of up to 4000 people from possibly tier 3 areas meeting up in a tier 1 area.... Im looking forward to hear how they've thought this one through.... In theory tier 3 shouldn’t be travelling out of the area for non necessary reasons. Try telling that to some of the fanatical supporters though from a slightly different council.

Perhaps if Bristol is in tier 2 and 2000 spectators are allowed in, we could rotate which season tickets are allowed in every week. Like ie, you’re entitled to 2/3rds of the remaining home games and any you don’t make, you can have a code on ifollow for. Just a thought.

I just want to watch the gas live, no matter how sh**e we might, or might not be😆

There will probably be a no singing/shouting rule.. but they'll be hidden behind a face mask anyway

It is time to let all fans back in end of you can say that and that it's down to choice, but then somebody else's choice might end up affecting and infecting someone else. My dad isn't in the greatest shape, I'm not to worried about getting close to football fans in a ground (We aren't the most sensible at times) and 'unwittingly' passing something on to my dad that would probably kill him.

It is time to let all fans back in end of That's a bold strategy... I think I would rather there were appropriate restrictions in place until a tried and tested vaccine is rolled out. But in the interim; this reduced capacity plan feels like a step in the right direction.

I expect the club or Government wont allow / risk the over 60's.
Which would be ironic as when the vaccine is being ready its, among other groups like front line NHS workeers, going to be the over 60's getting it first, which if having the vaccine becomes a condition of entry it may only be the over 60's that may qualify.
Ironic innit

How many season ticket holders do we have for this season? I thought we had only sold 1k?

How on earth will the club decide which 2000 ST holders are allowed in when we move from tier 3 down to tier 2? Will the club even bother opening to 2000 - they will probably make a loss when extra staff are paid etc as there will be no additional revenue from pay on the day fans. It's going to be decided by us all playing the wall game hosted by Danny Dyer, " Am I right or am I wrong?" 😂⚽️

The problem with tier 3 is that regional lockdowns haven't been too successful and we may not come out of it for a long time. But thats where we are going. I've always been optimistic normal won't be too far away, but I doubt the Mem will see crowds before a lot closer to then.
We have plenty of elderly/vulnerable season ticket holders that won't want to go. And others, like myself, who are quite happy to skip the hollow matchday experience of masked 2,000 at the Mem.

With the rates in the Bristol area right now we're better off waiting for vaccines to take affect. I think we might be lucky enough to see the end of the season.

Apparently they are going to have a raffle Eric and the ones who lose will have to go and watch it.
