No. You are the poster who looks stupid by reacting to it. Nice try...

Always makes me laugh when a poster gets caught out and the only reply is “nah I was just winding you up”
Mind you, if you are admittedly acknowledging that you’re being a WUM and trying to stir peoples emotions over a global pandemic, I can imagine your time on the forum won’t last too long.

I can assure you that I am treating this pandemic with the utmost seriousness. It's just that the reply to my original post seemed to consider that I was picking on demonstrating students. Read my post again and you will see that I was referring to people of all ages. Regarding the rave in Yate, my views still stand. The type of person attending there care little for anyone else but themselves. My statement to people like that is, If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

What is it with people mangling up sayings today? To them I say: never look a gift horse in the eye.

I've got nothing against your views on those idiots attending the rave in Yate. However, you were (unfairly IMO) indicating that students at Bristol's unis were to blame for the spread by going out protesting etc. A purely ignorant comment.

Regarding the Yate rave, as an ex resident I know a large amount of people living in yate and they are disgusted by the behaviour. A lot of the 'attendees' were trying to get lifts home and many drove to the event. You'd be surprised by how many were from far afield. I'm not saying that locals did not attend but don't assume that it was locals - or fairly local - only

Pointing the COVID finger at students doesn't explain the high number of cases in Bishopsworth! (and now someone's going to say it's full of sh...heads!)

Why are we in their 3? I will tell you why. In the Bristol area, we have two universities, Bristol and UWE. The occupants of these seats of learning think the rules don't apply to them so they carry on in their usual way along with the people of all ages who wandered around Bristol a few weeks ago with no masks and no social distances demonstrating about a lockdown. The same applies to the 500 to 700 nutters who attended an illegal race in Yate and then disappeared into the rest of this area. If this took place in France the fire hoses would move 'em. The majority are now suffering for the " the rules don't apply to me" brigade Doubt many students were at that protest to be honest

Me and some of the Norton boys are organising boats across chew valley lake to the promised land of Tier 2. The journey will be dangerous, especially if it is a little windy as the pedalos are not in the best condition, however, we are confident we can take 50 men, women and children at a time to a place where where you can enjoy of the luxuries that we Tier 2 folk enjoy. Only £500 a crossing which includes a face mask, a Ginsters pasty (a little out of date but shout out to the Mem for these) and a can of Natch - Bargain !

The same goes for the lack of social distancing and mask wearing at the shopping centre, particularly the post office, ALL students! Wait till you hear about those bloody migrants, our government definitely doesn’t bomb the sh** out of their countries and sell arms to countries that do. Bloody student migrants!! I’m off the daily mail comment section 😡
