Darlo 6 - can see why they are doing well.
Ref: 7. Didn’t get much wrong. Unlike one of the linesmen who flagged us offside twice, incorrectly. But I forgive him.

Not a good enough judge of football to rate all players but having watched the game did not realise how good Jaakkola was.

Jaakkola 7 one very good save
Hare 7 well taken goal, generally steady and energetic
Ehmer 6.5 decent
Baldwin 6 some really sloppy passing
Leahy 7 two excellent penalties
Grant 8 excellent game - helped defence a lot, good movement and passing
Liddle 6.5 steady debut
McCormick 7 full of running, some lovely bits of skill
Oztumer 8 very good goal and was non-stop with his closing down
Nicholson 7.5 deserved his goal
Daly 7.5 his goal typifies his willingness to chase and harry opponents
Subs: Kilgour 6.5 looked good
Westbrooke 5.5
Harries -
Ref 8 gave 2 correct pens.
Darlington 6 pretty good going forwards, but couldn't cope with our movement from the 1st goal.

Jaakkola 7.5 a great save and and all round competent game. Hare 8 m.o.m. well taken goal plus an assist, a much improved display. Ehmer 7 steady game Baldwin 7 as Ehmer Leahy 7.5 confident and two good penalties. Grant 7 beginning to look the part. Liddle 6.5 a decent debut McCormick 7.5 another high energy game Oztumer 7.5 a well taken goal, hopefully more to come. Nicholson 7 always adds the quality Daly. 7.5 a typical Daly goal, always willing to chase seemingly lost causes. Subs: Kilgour 7 solid from Alf Westbrooke 6 didnt really get into the game, Harries 5 he's not a midfielder Ref 7 he got most things right. Darlington 5 outclassed but kept their heads up. |

Always makes me laugh we loose ref gets low score we win and it’s a high score, but to be fair he was good today, no messing , let the game flow and did not mess about. The linesman was a bit quick with his flag at times though.

Exactly what I saw.
Would have been fair for them to get a goal. But, even though it was 6-0, the goalkeeper is awesome

Jaakkola 7 - one great save and gave confidence to the defence
Hare 7 - good performance but needs to prove that he is capable of defending against league one sides
Ehmer 6.5 - solid
Baldwin 6 - a little uncertain at times
Leahy 6.5 - two very good penalties
Grant 5.5 - did not do a lot
Liddle 6 - adequate but not unsurprisingly looked short of match sharpness
McCormick 6.5 - good in patches but needs to add goals to his game
Oztumer 6.5 - good in patches. Great goal
Nicholson 6.5 - good but could of been even more dominant against a non-league defence
Daly 6.5 - did well to earn two penalties
Subs: Kilgour 6 - untroubled
Westbrooke 4 - baffling decision to bring him on wide
Harries 4 - again baffling decision to bring him on in midfield for the second time recently. Shows no indication of having a clue how to play there. Would have thought better to had Barrett on the bench and give him an opportunity

Darlington 5 - had a bit of a nightmare defensively but I think only a handful less shots than us and had more corners than what we did. 6-0 flattered us.

Jaakkola 8 regula match with a worldy tip onto the post.
Hare 8 won the game for us with an assist for first and scored second. They were never coming back from that.
Ehmer 7 nice assist for Nicholson goal. nice
Baldwin 7 string match.
Leahy 8 steady performance and you can't guess where he's hitting the next penalty at.
Grant 8 getting better and better
Liddle 6 the weak link.
McCormick 8 excellent pass to Hare, a constant nuisance.
Oztumer 7 glad he scored, great through balls played.
Nicholson 8.5 m o m undroppable performance.
Daly 7.5 great poacher performance and a threat throughout.
Subs: Kilgour 6.5 done a job.
Westbrooke 5 losing it....or did he have it in first place?
Harries 5.5 unremarkable.
Ref 7 Brett Huxtable is a memorable name but was unmemorable during the match which is the best kind of ref.
Darlington 2 easily the poorest opponents this year, but I liked that Rivers. Kamikaze defending, that Sh*tHead Hunt looked older than Hamer and they were there for the taking.
Well done PT on first win in his Gas management and just hope Daley recovers asap.
Let's hope for a great 3rd round draw .... Probably away to Barnsley/Rotherham!?
