He’s a Coughlan type player, not a widdrington/garner type player so I wouldn’t hold my breath unless there is a big mea culpa at the top that this new strategy of the club’s was not the brightest idea. Widdrington was there for all of Coughlan's signings. So he gets no credit for those but blamed for this lot? TW can't be completely blameless it's true, but presumably he recruited to a specification given to him by BG and GC previously. Now that TW is Director of Football I would think he has more say in the direction and type of player, rather than just recruiting the best of the type specified by the Manager? |

(and a lot of them are not any good) A muppet who would stuggle to win a game of Subbuteo. That doesn't really work because all subbuteo players are identical..... |

Why does Hanlan aways face away from goal? He was 4th in line at Gillingham . Hardly a big club . And he's expected to play with two other strikers who never kicked a ball at this level who are injured. What can we expect ?. We made about 1.4 million on j.c.h and rolin and paid peanuts on our makeshift strike force. |

Unfortunately I don't think Tisdale was the right appointment, he doesn't seem to me like the guy who can get a struggling team fired up. We lack any real senior respectable pros too so no one to lead by example. There is not fight whatsoever. I would have Ogogo back in this side immediately. Their defence has looked untroubled and their striker has scored twice, think that answers my own question sadly.

What do you expect when you stuff the team with lightweight inexperienced youngsters without even making sure you have the experience off the pitch to implement such a plan. It’s a nice idea but the way we’ve gone about it it’s like all you have to do is wave a magic wand and you get kids playing sexy football. Yeah it ridiculous. We’ve all been watching league 1 football long enough to know it wouldn’t work. I don’t blame Tisdale for this I think the blokes on a hiding to nothing taking over this side , hopefully he can get a few out in January and bring in some experience tough players if he can’t then he’s / we’re f**ked. The cynic in me thinks that Tisdale’s been brought in with half an eye on next season and being the man to spearhead a challenge from league two. I can’t really put too much blame on him although it’s worrying how we seem to be worse under Tisdale. A few seem to be clinging to that as proof that Garner knew what he was doing when really it was hardly Dam brilliant under Garner. Getting rid of Garner was the start of stopping the rot but the problem is the recruitment has been so poor, so unbalanced and in such breadth and depth that the club is pretty much f**ked now. We need a squad transfusion in January and that’s saying something considering we’ve only just signed thousands of players in the summer because Garner wanted loads of players who wouldn’t even get a chance to play. I feel like we should get out youth back from loan and just play them. It sounds like they’ve got more heart than this mob who are actually on the pitch. Absolute shambles |

This just gets worse. Do these players have any pride? This display is national league standard. Why on why did my wife and I buy our season ticket. Rosedale must be wondering what he has inherited.

He’s spoken out against Coughlan’s players - saying Coughlan wanted a particular type of player that the club are trying to move away from. We’re all about powder puff kids these days, it seems. |
