What a load 0f dross. Absolutely dreadful. Defending bloody awful and when we change to a back three we immediately get caught out wide with no full back or cover anywhere near.Centre halves are dire. Gran t just gets bypassed too much and Upson far too slow. Don't know where the next win in the league will come from as we don t look like scoring goals in the League. We just have a totally unbalanced squad with very few attacking options and Tisdale filling the team with defensive players. The only consolation is we dont have to go out in the cold and watch this rubbish. Its still early but I cant see anything but relegation at5 this moment in time.

Don't worry. If we are getting relegated Tisdale will have pre-warned the board like he says he did at Exeter.

Possibly the worst side I can remember.
We are down. Gone.
Our only hope is that we don't go down with a record low points tally IMO.

Plenty of time to turn it around but its depressing and worrying, hopefully January's window can help sort out this shambles.

Most worrying tonight was the poor concentration in defence - Ehmer for the first goal and grant for the second. Going forward we were doing OK until they scored their first then we caved in. Grant had his poorest game for us and badly needs a rest. Tisdale now has to show us his motivational skills - too many players looked off the pace tonight. BUT I am an optimist - this players can do well in League 1 and we will finish mid-table if the manager does his job or motivating and organising right.

Pretty sure it was Garner who filled the club with defensive players.
After he got rid of all the experienced pros who gave a sh**.

Not convinced transfers in will help hugely at this stage...we have some talented players already and have been unlucky having two strikers injured. This is an organisational and motivational challenge for the manager.

Every relegation season has been preceded by players standing on the ball looking for a pass

The worrying thing is we still got 9 games to window . We know we got too many midfielders and defenders . And we know we could off load 6-8 of them .
But who is going to sign them in order to free up cash for two strikers ?. And if our budget is used up . Surely it's going to be too late .
We are in a mess with probably one fit striker between now and window because we never ever have two strikers in a 18 man squad.

Get cam Hargreaves in for Ed upson and move them up the pitch, we are so slow to attack its shocking.
Cant blame Tisdale too much as he has been chucked in there.

When I was watching the fa cup game on Sunday I thought to myself about the old concept that luck equals itself out over a season regarding things such as lucky bounces and refereeing decisions....
And it struck me that we used 6 months of luck up in one game....

Pretty sure it was Garner who filled the club with defensive players. After he got rid of all the experienced pros who gave a sh**. We wanted to move away from that type of player. It was all by design and it’s backfired massively. It has to be said it shows a real lack of nous all around to think that you can succeed in this league purely off the back of technical ability.

Appreciate that. I don't understand it though. To me there's nothing better than seeing a player run themselves into the ground for our shirt and putting their body on the line and succeeding through determination and heart. I don't get all the tippy tappy bollucks and it seems to rarely work at this level.

If you want to change a team do it over a few years.

I'm not saying we will or won't go down but bit OTT. I honestly think we are by FAR the worst team in this division. Hence down. Lightweight, shocking defensive errors and - crucially - no goals.

So much defeatism on here. Don’t get me wrong I understand it, it’s hard to feel positive after our dreadful form in the league as of late but I’m not going to resign myself to the thought of relegation just yet.
Plenty of time left to turn things around, we’re only a point off being out of the relegation zone and a game in hand on a few of the teams above us. Not dead and buried as this thread gives you the impression that we might be.
The biggest problem we have is a lack of goals and an unbalanced squad, so in that regard January will be massive for Tisdale to reshape the squad a bit to his liking and add some potency to the strike force. We fix this and we’ve got enough about us elsewhere to compete and survive the drop IMO.
