Here we go with the eternal optimism again. Setting ourselves up for a possible big fall and another forum meltdown. Remember our 5 home defeats this season have all been by more than one goal. Remember the doom and gloom before the Darlington game followed by the cockiness pre Gillingham. Let's be realistic here. Football is usually unpredictable.
Having said that we have just won two on the trot for the first time since this time last year and we now have a manager who has the potential to become a Gas Hero.
I rarely do predictions and when I do they're usually 0-0, so that's mine for today. UTG

I dont understand this competition about starting the match day thread?? is there some joke I'm missing? I cant believe grown assed men can be bickering about it, so I must have missed something... For about the 400th time. What has anyone's age got to do with the enjoyment of something? If you're in a pub and playing spoof do people come over to you and say "I can't believe grown assed men playing an inconsequential game - I'm deliberately going to mess this up to stop you grown men playing that game and don't you dare say anything because you're grown men". You'd think that person was a prick. What's the difference? So what has anyone's age got to do with the fact it's a bit of fun to see who can go on a lucky run when starting the matchday thread? As I've said before it's a bit of fun which is why one person wants to play the bully boy to ruin that tiny bit of harmless fun. Because like the guy in the pub, that person is a prick. |

That's why I started the Wombles one, when it appeared no-one else was not doing it and when we won I said I'd start the Charlton one. When you've got as little to celebrate as those planks, I suppose you would enjoy such an event. Let's face it, they haven't even got their own ground really have they?
The only 'ground' I've seen with permanent portaloos.

I think it’ll be high scoring today 3-2 Gas.
Got us in a 5 match win both score Accy which would return 8 grand so fingers crossed.

Always had a soft spot for Plymouth probably because I had family there and I always thought it was one of the friendlier rivalries, though a rivalry none the less. I rarely predict or bet on rovers to win as I'm usually doubly disappointed when we don't. Still Looking forward to this afternoon as us v argyle is always a special atmosphere maybe less so today as they can't bring their usual hoards.

Lad went to UNI at Muff and both the presenters on Radio Stoke Breakfast show are ardent fans as they say constantly(John Akers and Matt Lee who is from Pucklechurch) so will be nice when we score our fifth today.
