Can’t see us keeping Nicholson past January, the guy is class above, think a couple of offers will be coming in It makes you wonder why at the age of 25 he hasn't played at a higher level. He certainly has been a class act since he signed. Absolutely fantastic since he’s gained full fitness. I would say Scottish prem and MLS is a higher standard though tbf |

Moving to MLS hardly seems a good career move for a 20 year old even if it pays well, it'll be interesting to hear from TW how we captured his signing, it's a bit like Jaakola's was, seemingly a bit of a random signing.

Moving to MLS hardly seems a good career move for a 20 year old even if it pays well, it'll be interesting to hear from TW how we captured his signing, it's a bit like Jaakola's was, seemingly a bit of a random signing. personally think it was a good career move considering Hearts were out of the SPL and the chance to experience a different culture and league. All that and the calibre of player quality would have been far higher in the MLS than in the Scottish top two divisions. I certainly don't think he will move in January nor do I think he will in the summer but a good second season with us then yes for sure as he's very capable of playing championship football. |

The 1st half was a brilliant advert for L1 football. It was end to end - lovely passing moves, dynamic play , goals, near misses and scrambles.
I love our quick free kicks, and our slick interchanging passing moves. Thought Plymouth were unlucky to lose by 3 but we deserved it.
And yes JVS can be proud he kept a clean sheet - I might get shouted at for this but for me he makes a meal with some of his saves BUT as they say you've got to be in the right place to save them.
Charlton on Tues could be tasty !

Under GC and BG, Ed Upson was a player who was infuriating too watch as he never passed forward, only sideways or backward and constantly slowed the play down. Under PT he has clearly been told to face forward and play forward and this has transformed his performance and that of the team. He has the skills and now he is using them to positive effective. Today was not our best performance but the skills level are so so much higher than what we have been served up for the last couple of years. Nicholson looks a fantastic signing, McCormick the first loan signing for a long time that really stands out. Westbrooke is playing well and deserved his goal and Grant alongside Upson offer a really solid platform. Great effort today from Jordi who should take confidence from this. We are turning the corner and heading up the table. UTG Upson played well under GC too and was always appreciated by the supporters round me on the East Terrace, but yeah he's popping up everywhere and could score a few the way he's going. |

Three of the players that often get the most criticism, were probably three of out best players today, JVS, Leahy and Upson. Nicholson was class and with him and Hanlan in the side we are going to always be in with a chance of getting goals even when under the cosh. Plymouth were a better team than Wimbledon but some of their defending and crossing was poor. Charlton game will be tougher and if i have one criticism of Rovers today it is that we give the ball away to much in the midfield inviting pressure on ourselves will need to improve on that against Charlton. Overall an entertaining game,with every game we seem to improve some part of our play, long may it continue.

So all of us who took stick about Garner not being very good, were actually right! I thought it was as obvious as it could possibly be that he was way short of the skills to do the job when it took him so long to win his first game with a team who had been 4th in the league when we came in. It was beyond comprehension that he had not only his fans but his disciples!! BTW, Tisdale is now getting top performances out of players he inherited, something the Garner fan club said we shouldn’t have expected of Garner when he took Coughlan’s high flyers on a nosedive, only to be saved from a relegation fight by lockdown! Hindsight eh ! Garner was out of his depth but probably left at the right time. He didn't do dreadfully this season (3 wins out of 12 ? shows that) but he certainly didn't get the best out of his midfielders and attackers - as he was too formulaic with his coaching. Tisdale has released the shackles and added a few more experienced players in the 1st 11. |

Given he's now playing in L1 I'm not sure it can be said to be a good career move, although after 3 wins in a week perhaps he won't be playing in L1 for that long with Rovers! Tuesday's game will be a good test to see how far we've come under PT. |

We had a large number of Player but not a Team. Now, thanks to Paul Tisdale we have the making of a good Team. He will take good care of BRFC as he oozes experience and competence.

For once in a long time let’s try & hold on to our quality players & build a club that can go on & achieve better things in the future. |

Orient beat Newport today , that win on Tuesday was a very good win.
I know they’re a division below us but not that many positional places.
It’s been a cracking week let’s hope we can continue and have a great final month to end what has been a dreadful year for the Gas on the pitch.
