If we played these next week we would beat them. Our Covid break has really taken us off our game. They are not a good team, but could be 5 up todsy...but we look the more talented side. That's made my Christmas, what planet are you from!

MK dons have created 5 or 6 clear cut opportunities. 2-0 flatters us, but for an alright 10 mins after half time. Agreed GasEd.... Very accurate assessment UTG J

Mk have been sh** but we setup a side with no midfielders who can create To be fair they haven’t played for weeks and have only had one training session. We have been awful don’t get me wrong but I blame bad Covid luck more than anything else for this one.

Ref is getting on my wick too. Every marginal decision going MK dons way and against us.

I can’t really name one good performance from a Rovers player today if I’m honest. There’s a few that have been a bit less worse than the rest.
We’ve looked tired, out fought in the midfield, lacking ideas up front and guilty of giving them a bit too much space and time in our half. A bad performance all over the pitch really. MK Dons have barely had to work for the comfortable lead they’ve gained.
I do think we are very much not out of the relegation scrap yet, we have a few games in hand but they are against high flyers Portsmouth and Charlton, got to do a lot better in those games than we’ve done today.

Half the league one games off and this will continue for weeks, whilst other leagues are fine. It’s clearly spreading around teams in our league. Suspend the league for 2 weeks for f**ks sake.

Officiating is dire today. Keeper drops the ball for no reason ffs and ref immediately blows his whistle

I'll let Tisdale off today and have a 'free' hit - under the circumstances. However, this performance next weekend will not be acceptable and I expect to see us back to where we were before the Covid outbreak.

City a point off the playoffs, Rovers a point off Relegation. That sums up this Christmas!

I think we missed players in 3 really important positions for us today (Jaakkola, Grant and one of Oztumer/Westbrooke). Obviously Daly is also a big miss and this is no slight on Hanlan but today has highlighted even more, a need to bring in an experienced striker. But i think the wise thing to do today is chalk it down to the week off, move on and prepare for Blackpool, where we should theoretically have a fitness advantage this time.

Lacklustre from the start and missing 4 first reamers really showed.

A really hard test this, will be interesting to see how our boys come back from the down time and virus. Really hard to call but I hope we can get a positive result. Oh well.

FT 2-0. Better second half but nowhere near good enough. We’ll put it down to 2 weeks of inactivity and move on.

However, this performance next weekend will not be acceptable and I expect to see us back to where we were before the Covid outbreak. The odds were stacked against us coming into this, I’m willing to cut Tisdale and the squad a lot of slack given that they’ve not played/trained much recently and have a lot of injuries in the squad. Still coming away from this a bit disappointed, it’s not the kind of performance you want to see your team put in on Boxing Day. We can do a lot better as we showed in our last two games before today.
