Seeing as most teams around us lost in the gameweeks that we've missed I'd be happy with a draw tbh, 1-1 seems quite a likely scoreline.

I feel like this is an important game for the rest of the season. If we win we will be mid-table with games in hand and we can start looking up. If we lose we are still in the relegation fight.

A real head scratcher this. Will we come out rusty given the break from training? Or will we be refreshed and raring to go?
MK were dismal v Plymouth but very good against Posh before.
Which rovers will turn up? Which MK will turn up?
I’ll go for a Desmond.

Most seasons you can guess which quarter of the table you will end up in by where you sat after boxing day (or the 20th game). This season there is such a random spread of games played it's difficult to predict. Games in hand can be a positive or a negative . Rovers are sat in the bottom quarter currently today's result could change that.Rovers could end the season in the 7th-12th section if they continue the good run for a month or so. Like you say today and the next few games are important on how we all view the season.

No idea what to expect here. If they had to quarantine for 10 days then can we expect the players are only coming back together today?
Going to assume we will also have 3 players off, following their positive tests?

Had we not had the beak I would have fancied us to win this in decent form but with the break it’s a bit like tossing a coin I reckon. I saw the other day MK have one of the highest possession rates in Europe but their seasons results haven’t been good so hopefully we’ll really go at them close them down and they’ll panic in to mistakes. Of course our energy levels might not be so good due to the break so a high pressing game could be difficult to implement but I can’t wait for this. UTG Roll on 3pm !!!!

I’m quite surprised looking at the betting for this one, Dons are 4/5 and Gas are 7 - 2? Massive difference in the odds and not much in it form wise really as their home record is not that great, I take it the bookies are reading a lot into us not being able to train we shall see? I’ll be doing my usual bets with much improved odds COYB! Just been looking.33/1 for 3-1. We are being given a similar chance today as Wycombe have v the Rubbish. 3-1 Wycombe is going on too. Very strange odds. (Let’s hope this is bumped for 3-1 win and not because the bookies know best). 🤞

I think we cancelled on the 15th, so anyone testing positive then, would have done their 10 day isolation and be available today.

I thought the whole squad had to isolate?

I thought the whole squad had to isolate? 10 days with no symptoms, I believe, or 10 days from the start of symptoms if you get any, which is presumably why we are expected to play this match more than ten days after the first game was postponed. Any sooner would be impossible. Presumably, anyone who tested negative or who weren't tested on the 15th (or 14th) and who subsequently developed symptoms won't be available today.

2-1 Gas said with one finger in the air. Who knows it’s a lottery at the moment

Last New Year day game was such a disappointment especially after the win at Ipswich. 3-1 to the Gas but i would settle for any win. UTG
