To be fair that could be the kick up the ass we needed at half time.
It's forgivable. Let's not forget we've not been able to train for the last 2 weeks.

Well taken goal but given too much space

Really poor first half. The only positives were Koiki and I think Kilgour had done ok. Nothing going forward though.
I'd possibly being on Ayunga and play Nicholson just behind.
Apart from the wonder strike, MK don't particularly worry me

Typical Concede seconds before the break
We are not closing them down just before the penalty box Too much space and time
Scared football by us?
So far we have been terrible and they are playing composed football.

Both teams have been sh** today but why is no one closing him down? Given way to much time to choose what to do and did exactly that, what a good goal Problem is if either Leahy or Baldwin had moved to close him down the goal scorer they'd have left their man unmarked, I can't see Hargreaves or McCormick have done much in the first half, with Nicholson virtually a passenger.

Cr4p time to concede. Come on Gas, let's turn this around... Apparently not. Statistics have shown that it doesn’t have a disproportionate effect on the result to score just before half time. There’s also evidence to suggest if the home team scores just before half time the away team often score the next goal. One possible theory is that the home team relax having been on top.

If it was 0-0 at HT we would continue as we were, now we have to push on and we know PT teams do this. As you said, we ain't trained in 2 weeks.Going behind could fire us up.

I wasn’t expecting a classic today seeing as we have not been allowed to train. MK never looked like scoring until that wonder strike. I expect us to get back into this second half now we have blown some of the cobwebs out. Koiki looks impressive today. I would bring in Barrett to add some creativity as we have missed that so far without oztumer

Exactly how i thought it would go. We don't look like scoring just shows the work Grant does and how we link play better with Westbrooke. Cam Hargreaves looks well out his depth maybe down to not playing much and we just can't get a grip of the ball. Plus points are we look quite well organised and have defended well until the last minute of the half. PT will have to work some magic to turn this around as we haven't had a shot yet.

We look like we havent played for a while, off the pace from the start. Having said that up until the goal we'd defended very well and restricted them to very little. Poor goal to concede backed off and invited him to shoot, good strike but another preventable goal. Certainly going to have to be a lot better going forward if we're going to get anything out of this.

Very poor performance, rovers players not competing for the ball at all, giving the ball away all the time not even bothering to look up and fined their own players with passes, MK Dons totally in charge and deserve their lead. Players need a kick up the ass. Dreadful

We look exactly like a team that’s had injuries, been in isolation and not played much football for the last few weeks, playing away from home on a poor pitch etc As much as it’s been a really poor performance so far, this should probably be considered.
The goal just before half time was a bit of a sucker punch because 0-0 at half time would be a decent score line. Woeful bit of defending though, just backed off and granted their player the opportunity to shoot.
Need to step up our game and get the ball to Hanlan and Nicholson in better positions in the second half. At 1-0 down it will be a bit of a struggle but a result is still very possible in this.

Just got in to look at HT scores. Christ 29% possession 0 shots on target, 0 shots on goal. Is it really that bad ?

Does that really matter after we've played out the first 15/20 mins of the match? I bet every team who misses two weeks doesn't then lose their first game back.
