Yes, that's where I was. Also, I noticed the reactions of people around me growing steadily more outraged as they got into the handball fever, rather than the instant explosion of really seeing it. Fascinating how firmly divided opinion is though. Like witnesses at a car crash. One word for the officials: when our goal was given at the end, should we all have sung, "You DO know what you're doing!"? Just in the interests of fairness? Well i was in the gods in the Uplands looking down on it and I immediately said handball before anyone around me did. My mate who sits lower down and further along also told me at half time that he was certain it was handball . The referee must also have thought he saw something or he wouldnt have gone over to the lino to take his opinion. Still as we all know now it did not affect the outcome of the game. That was two of you then lol! Oh well, who cares? Maybe the film should be submitted for forensic study, like the Zapruder tape at the JFK assassination. Funnily enough, Barnet fans seem keen to see it as handball. Losing a 93rd minute goal is less painful if you feel you deserved to lose.

Why, what's happened? Has he confessed? The idea that something could only happen if someone confesses to it is bizarre. Just wondered why you said it "turned out" I was wrong. I thought perhaps something new had come to light.

On a side note and following Hugo's excellent post the other day. If posters used the 3 words "In my opinion" it may save an awful lot of animosity. Just saying every post is " in my opinion" - its going to get boring if we say it every time . just my opinion of course

Having watched the video many times I still don't think it is definitely a handball and so if there is any doubt then the decision made in the end was correct. I thought at the match from behind the dugout in the Uplands that it was a header and I am still not convinced it wasn't. His hand is so near to his head that I think it is too difficult to call. Never mind ...we won.

Sitting in the West Stand, Blackthorn End, I was 100% sure it was handball. However listening to DC's post-match interview driving home I'm sure he said that although he too thought it was handball and initially had a go at the referee the players then told him it was indeed a header and he felt that the referee had got it right.

That's new evidence for the Court. I missed that interview, by the time I'd got back to the car, soaked. I wonder what those players were saying to the ref at the time, lol. "It was indeed a header, ref," confirmed Mr. Andrew Monkhouse, (34).

With all the controversy over the handball, one thing only mentioned in passing was how well Blissett did to get in an overhead kick for the chance. Another plus point on the night.

He`s dived with his arm outstretched (either for momentum or to clear it with his hand) but the balls actually hit him on the side of the head just above his ear-temple area, i dont think he knew much about it though and he just was trying to get any form of block on it.

Yes, just seen it on Points West. No mention of handball.
Also just seen Balanta goal properly fro the first time. Can't think why the keeper let it go past the line.

On the night I thought it was a header and watching the highlights I think it's a header, the distance the ball travels also indicates that it wasn't 'punched' over. On the other hand, if the referee believed it was a handball and made the decision, I can't see how he was talked out of it from the lino who had a much worse view.

Where I was, on the left hand side of the Blackthorn, it was clearly handled. So that's that settled.

Sinclair's little jump celebration haha yeah that's awesome his reaction when we scored the winner. Shows how much he cares Brilliant. I haven't loved a player as much as Sinclair since our Twerton days when I was only a kid. As an adult I've always thought it as a bit childish to have a favorite player - until now.

Never gives up always fights for it and his game has improved tenfold since the start of the season. Gill? Stanley? Absolute jokery compared to Sinclair. Hes brilliant to watch and you can forgive him any mistake because he more than makes up for it.
