Linesman running along the Das stand is awful Yep. At least four mistakes and that long throw at the end their player had one foot well over the line when he took it. |

Massive sigh of relief to hear the final whistle after watching that. Huge 3 points in the bag.
Wasn’t a classic but I thought that was a much improved second half, created more going forward and held firm to restrict Blackpool to half chances at the other end.
Happy new year Gasheads, hopefully we will be celebrating more of these wins and be at the mem to experience them, much more throughout 2021.

Jordi is showing that theres something worth working with as a number 2. Still too many errors Not done a lot wrong today with a few decent saves at the death. Not sure Sam Walker for Blackpool looked when better at the other end. |

Thoughts for some of the players doing less than glamorous jobs today.
I thought Upson played well today. It's rare that people sing the praises of a defensive midfielder but the way he carrier himself today meant that the other four could get forward and have a go.
JVS as well had a solid game. Can only remember him having maybe one or two shaky moments. It's worth remembering two things - 1) he's our backup keeper, and for an extremely competent number one and 2) he's not had many senior games in the English football league. For a keeper he's still a young player.
Defensively apart from the odd gaffe from Leahy (one of which costly) I thought we were solid enough today. As much as it looked as if Blackpool were blundering their chances I think we made it difficult for them.
