Looks that way to me. I was surprised Little did not start or come on as sub for Hare. Hare's lack of pace and positional sense exposed today. Right back and Striker needed. Odd decision from PT to pick Little to sit on the bench if he had no intention of using him even when the starting Rightback needed replacing. I thought the same, they were getting a lot of joy down our right so could understand making change but if he's not going to use Little why not have Walker on the bench as another forward option. I've thought for a few weeks we seem to overload the bench with defenders. |

FWIW my thoughts on the game - we played ok but not spectacular. Charlton were average. The game was very even and a draw would have been a fair result. The goal conceded was a fluke and whilst Aneke had 2 clear cut chances and Bogle had a decent chance that was well saved - we had 3 or 4 decent efforts that we should have done better with ( Hanlan and Ayunga hitting the side netting, Kilgours header, Barrett’s acrobatic effort and Hanlans shot wide)...
I thought all players played ok but Day, McCormack, Kilgour, Baldwin, Upson, Leahy and Grant played well.
Overall we lost unluckily and those people predicting relegation and saying we are a bottom 4 team are wide of the mark

Grant and Upson have done nothing. Not an ounce of creativity between them. Upson has had a great game and Grant did pretty well. Neither are creative players? They’re ball winning, keep it simple and pass players although Upson played some decent long diagonals and over the top balls A lot on here don't like Upson and pre judge him. Upson & Grant were okay today. Upson put some good balls forward today. |

Things I thought about the game; we give the ball away too cheaply; we dont press enough at the top end of the field; Ayunga isn't good enough; Grant "disappears"; there is little pace in the team, and I think we will go down, unless, the league is abandoned soon, or we get some wonder player up front this window.

i was disappointed at a number of our players waiting for a pass to reach them only for an opposition player to nip in and take the ball and we still clear our six yard box by hitting the ball to the edge of the penalty area .
