Cant really see that Upson has done much wrong. Short and slick movement of the ball.Both full backs leave too much space.Personally would like to see Grant given a game in the centre of defence as has a bit of pace and for his height does well in the air.We have missed Nicholson and Oztumer for a bit of flair and we certainly need another striker and quick.Can't say I am over impressed with Tisdale style of play and really need to win thhis one with three away games on the trot.

We have a few who are very limited.Baldwin is one of them.BG signed a few that are simply very average,Liddle, Grant,Ayunga,Harries etc. We've hardly seen two of those. Agree with you on Harries though, didn't get what some saw in him. |

I don't know why there's plenty of negativity.
Yeah, it's scrappy and not the best of games, but it's evenly matched, with chances for both sides, Charlton were the better team in the first 20 odd minutes, we grew into the game and were the better team in the final 20 odd.
It's also worth considering we're without Anssi, Ehmer, Oztumer, Nicholson and Daly.
I dont think it's been that bad, at all.

Don’t understand you lot that are slating Ayunga and saying he doesn’t look like a finisher. How do you know? He’s had 1 chance, completely self made from a very tight angle. Think some of you need to chill out and remember that not every player is Ronaldo He’s had a better game than Hanlan so far and looks very lively. I think MC Cormick has been our best player so far today, I’d love it if we signed him doubt it will happen though. |

Decent effort first half. Especially last 20. Jonah looking are biggest threat, not sure why a few are giving him a hard time already!?
Charlton 7th and by no means out playing us.
Could go either way! Fingers crossed one falls for us. Always dangerous from Westbrooke/McCormick set pieces.

Can someone please explain to me why the keeper clattering Ayunga is fine but Baldwin challenging the keeper is a foul? The keeper had the ball in his hands. Baldwin was in the air when the keeper caught it which is fair enough. Not much he can do if there's still contact coming down. I see it as double standards. Keepers get too much leigh way from refs when they challenge for the ball. |

Not sure what game some of you guys are watching? I thought that was a decent first half - we started brightly, had an iffy middle 20 then grew and were getting stronger as the half ended. McCormack playing well as is Upson and Grant, Kilgour and Baldwin. Leahy has defended well and Ayunga and Hanlan have got better as the games gone on with sharper hold up play and starting to beat their men.
pretty even between both teams overall so drawing at half time is fair.
no poor performances so far. Hopefully we can keep the pressure and holding our shape up in the 2nd half and sneak this by the odd goal

Enjoyed it in a weird way.... Defence still worries me though ... Oneke has the beating of Baldwin every time. Johnny Williams looks a threat for Charlton . Really like the look of Joe Day ... Other than McCormack our midfield has done little - hoping we don’t have to go behind for PT to change things. Think Koiki could do well here and would definitely have Ogogo on to protect the defence more. Koiki does not add much apart from running down the line and trying to beat 2/3 players for no benefit and invariably losing the ball? We miss Nicholson, and Daly. Apart from that, we do not have much else to add? |

The crime is in the recruitment made leaving us again with no striker on the bench. How many games this season has that happened? Criminal What we should have done was sign 5 or 6 quality forwards in the last window and left most of them out of the team/squad just in case we had any injuries, criminal. |

Nothing special but nothing bad either. Let's hope we come out of half time guns ablaze. Looks like a draw at this rate which I wouldn't mind too much against Charlton. Would make a change from being dicked by them like we were a couple of years back.

Very scrappy so far but by and large we've defended pretty well. Understandable that we've got a bit more direct without Oztuhmer and Nicholson but think we've over done it at times. Ayunga and Hanlon look like they could cause problems given a bit better service, game is definitely there to win

I think we’re playing decently, had a few half chances and worked hard to deny them at the other end.
Charlton have a few dangerous players in attack that we need to be wary of, it’s a good thing that Aneke’s finishing has let him down.
It’s evident that we’re missing Oztumer and Nicholson, McCormick playing well but we don’t have too much spark in the midfield that will consistently create opportunities going forward.
Still very much in this with a chance of winning. Big second half coming up.

Currently a passenger in this game Want to be wrong (needs to be provided with goals) but I'm afraid he looks very non league. |

So you were happy with the recruitment? I didn’t say sign 5 or 6 of them, but we should NEVER be in a situation where we have nothing to offer from the bench. It’s not like it’s the first time this season is it? |
