To be fair I find some of it a bit harsh with Barrett and Ayunga as they have not had many minutes at all this season. At the start of all this we all were willing to give the team 10 games or so to gel (or something like that). Barrett has played 109 league mins and Jonah 195 mins. I’d like to see more game time before judging them so critically Thoughts? Think you are spot on 1883, Strikers especially need time to form partnerships and gain the sharpness required, same for midfield 'generals', can't be easy coming on and trying to dictate the flow, time you get into the 'groove, games over.

Ayunga made his professional league debut in his last match so definitely too early to write him off as not good enough and Barret clearly has ability so we shouldn’t write him off yet either.

Having said that if Ozzy and Sammy don’t play I can’t see us winning this game.

My thoughts are I've seen enough. Do only league minutes count now then? I can only go on what I see and I see very little from either of them and think the signings will end up as failures. GGMI you’re entitled to your opinion but when you say you’ve seen enough, I’m interested to understand when as neither has barely played as they’ve been injured or not involved and when the have it’s been 5 or 10 mins in a game late on when it is known that it is notoriously hard to come on and get involved and up to speed straight away. The games when they’ve had longer, they were just back from injury or played in their wrong position as an experiment (Barrett) Like I said, you’re entitled to your view - personally I think it’s a bit harsh and rash at this point in time and they should be given longer before we write them off as failures There's a reason we haven't seen more of them and I just think both offer very little. We haven't got time to faff about this season with them hoping they will come good. Tis will have to be ruthless, if he gives them a lot of chances and we get relegated all people will remember is Tis taking us down. Ogogo on the hand should probably be given more of a chance as he has proven he can withstand the the heat of the battle at this level.

Barrett to me is behind the likes of Oztuhmer for one of the creative roles but what he brings is a willingness to try things. He wants the ball and doesnt seem to get downhearted if something he tries doesnt come off. Ayunga will need time having stepped up from non league but hes shown glimpses of promise, the injury obviously set him back a bit.

I can’t see us winning, 3-0 Oxford. Sam Frost thinks it will be 5 at the back at the back with just 1 up front. For me this is a big mistake, so I will also go for a 3-0 score home win A different formation with four at the back and two up front in my opinion would give us a fighting chance

Sadly I'm feeling quite pessimistic for this one. Oxford are on good form and the certain serpentine striker will probably cause are flaky backline plenty of problems.
I predict a 2-0 win for Oxford. Obviously I hope I'm wrong.

Fair enough although if they aren’t given a chance how do we know that they’ll fail? We don’t know what they can and can’t do? I’m not saying they should be put in ahead of our established players who are performing well but before we say get rid, let’s see what they can do. Barrett I think is ready to be given a chance in his favoured position IF there is a gap due to the established players being injured

I don't mind Tis playing 5-3-1-1 again I just hope he's doesn't play Ogogo and Grant at the same time. If Ozzy is fit then play him, Westbrooke and McCormick and leave Grant out. And play Ogogo or no Ogogo? Without Ogogo or Grant we'd get over run in midfield I think. I meant play Ogogo or Grant as Upson is out and he's going to have to play a holding midfielder. I'm hoping its Ogogo though

Ogogo for example nearly went up with Shrews and we were a top 3/4 side when GC was here with him in the side. He's a battler. Oztumer hasn't set the world alright but has looked quite good and makes us tick more. I don't rate Bennett so don't see what he has to do with anything? He has looked good once but I've seen him have far more poor games than good ones.

Can't see us winning but what I would like to see is an improvement in the defence with the inclusion of our new signing

3-1 Oxford. Matthew to score. Matty Taylor his cock's in the cup. He probably will without the fans there spooking him out. #bottler
