Rochdale look a bit dodgy at the back, but we've not put them under enough pressure. I'd put ayunga on and move Nicholson out wide. We've had plenty of possession in our half but we look blunt in the final third. Got to say Day at fault for the goal. Poor goal to concede, beauty of an equaliser.

When Hanlan used to get the ball at his feet, he used to turn his man and run towards goal and shoot more often than not. Now he get the ball and often doesn't know what to do with it. Why ?

We don't half like making things difficult for ourselves another soft goal given away from a set piece. Draw probably a fair reflection so far it's been pretty even so far. Personally I think we need to move the ball quicker, Westbrooke especially slowing the game down too much which is allowing them to get players back behind the ball. They dont look comfortable at all at the back, this game is there for the taking.

Poordefending again and Westbrooke almost cost us dearly for a second. We are too slow at times.
Great finish from Leahy though. There are more goals to come, but who from?

Was thinking the same. Since he missed the penalty and a sitter just after, his confidence seems to have gone. |

It’s not been mentioned but Ehmer, his cross for Leahy aside, has been poor. When defending he doesn’t have any urgency to mark his man. Twice they could have scored and he makes no effort to get goal side of the attacker. Really poor. He rarely runs hard to get back and just ambles back ignoring where the attackers are. Needs to up his game.

Great commentary with Byron brilliant. I wonder if Leahy could play up front as that is the second brilliant bit of finishing this season. Westbrooke is awful so far today- slows the game down far too much and what is the wasting of both him and Oztumer at corners and free kicks -waste of a player. Yet another goal conceded at corners- when is Tisdale going to see that you don't need everybody back if only the defenders would make sure they are marking opponents-terrible goal and Day should have done much better. I reckon that's his weakness. I hope when Tisdale does make a substitution its not one of our attackers that go off as Rochdale are here for the taking if we really go for it, Would like to see Nicholson getting more of the ball as he can take players out of the game. If there is a must win game then this is it and if we cant win then just make sure we don't lose.

He's tried it a couple of times but he's crowded out. Defenders doubling up on him because there's noone else to mark at the top. I don't think he's out of form or whatever. I think he's isolated and has too much to do by himself when he does get the ball played up to him. |
