It's a great series, still has a few inaccuracies (to be expected) and a couple of character assassinations (unfair as these are real people) though. How far have you got? Watched about 6 so far . It's a good series as is Pacific,agree with Stuart re the character assassination and the air brushing of the British on D Day plus. |

Best film I've seen for accuracy (within the limits of artistic licence) is Master and Commander. Amistad was good too as was The Longest Day. Worst was definitely Braveheart, so much so I couldn't bring myself to watch The Patriot. |

I tbought it wasn't quite as good as Band of Brothers, still worth a watch though. If they ever get round to it, looking forward to Speilberg and Hanks putting the series together of the Mighty 8th? About the US Bomber crews. |

I have been lucky enough to visit Rorkes Drift and Islandwhana,the latter being like the Somme a place that is very quite and full atmosphere,if you climb up the hill where a few soldiers made their last stand and close your eyes I swear you can hear and visualise the whole battle spread out below you . |

Little bit late to the party but I’m watching ‘Band of brothers’ on sky Atlantic. It’s good ! It's a great series, still has a few inaccuracies (to be expected) and a couple of character assassinations (unfair as these are real people) though. How far have you got? Watching the last episode and I’m thinking ….that looks familiar 🤔…..anyway turns out it’s filmed at Grandhotel Giessbach very close to where I stayed on holiday this summer near Interlaken! |

Just watched on Netflix a three part documentary/series called "Aftershock Everest and the Nepal Earthquake"
It was excellent. Had interviews from survivors and real footage when the Earthquake hit Everest, Everest base camp,Kathmandu and the Langtang valley.
Having been to Nepal 4 times and Base camp 3 times it was a very poignant watch for us as we returned home just two weeks before the Earthquake hit. One of the villages we visited just a few weeks earlier "Barpak" was the epicenter of the earthquake and was totally flattened.
So in my books this is well worth a watch.

Just caught the last few episodes of The Traitors on BBC. Interesting format with twists, sort of a game of Cluedo mixed with Big Brother and Bush tucker trials.

I've started rewatching The Wire again after about 15 years.
It just gets better and better with age.
It was always a close call between The Sopranos and The Wire as to the G.O.A.T in regards to TV Series.
Over time I think The Wire now edges it. Just superb in every way.
