At the start of Lockdown 3, I was pleased to still be able to watch Rovers/have football to help pass the time. Six or so defeats and its turned out to make it even more miserable!

I'm pretty sure max ehmer is garry kenneth built like plays like and has the attitude of payne. Games without fans has given chancers like these a free ride this season

I wonder if Eddie Howe fancies a challenge? Well that ain’t gonna happen = but Ollie would be the obvious choice until the end of the season. Tisdale should do the honourable and just resign and walk away. Too many passengers in this team ........ I can’t remember a defence so badly marshalled . What do they do training? Fannying around by the look of it. He’ll be fielding more local phone calls today! UTG!

I have been a fan of Tisdale but the chopping and changing of formations and tactics lately has been a total mystery, and its giving the players no time to settle into any sort of rhythm. They are underperforming massively, but what's worst is the lack of organisation, we look a total shambles. Tisdale if he stays in a job, has to stop the constant changes from game to game, and bring things back to absolute football-for-dummies. Tonight reminded me of the Brazil 1-7 Germany when it looked like a professional side playing a bunch of drunk hobos. Accy looked like they would score every time they came forward, and that wasn't through any great movement and skill, although they are a good side. It was down to us looking like headless chickens. Agree 100%, from this shambles decide on system to play and keep to it. I’d make few changes, bring Baldwin in for Ehmer, but the others are our best I think. Send the players out on Saturday with some determination to turn things round. UTG!

The problems we have are:
1. Tisdale has lost the dressing room. 2. Head of recruitment brings in sh**e players 3. Martyn starnes appears clueless. 4. Current team is a mish mash of tripe brought in by BG and TW.
The answer is simple..
1. Bring in ollie as a mentor to PT in much the same way as big mal was brought in to undermine Denis rofe. Same thing happened with Ron atkinson/Steve Bleasedale and Roy evans/Gérard houlllier. A fortnight of working with that loon will cause PT to walk, guaranteed. Ollie, despite his faults and cringe worthy clichés is a total man manager in the Harry redknapp mould and will give the squad an immediate boost to their fragile egos. A new man always gets a positive response, at least initially.
2. Get rid of all of these Loan players clogging up the midfield. Send the kebab shop manager back to charlton, get rid of that young kid mccormick back to Chelsea and the useless day from wherever we've got him.
3. Give the remaining cm signings liddle, westbrooke and grant a run of games without being chopped and changed, to find their feet at this level. The amount of central midfielders we've signed is obsessive, almost as much as left backs.
4. We have other keepers at the club in the absence of AJ. Give them a chance, be it JVS or Andre Jr or Liam Armstrong. If we're paying them a wage to be in the squad then use them!!! They can't be any worse than JD and if I were them, I'd be beating the managers door down to ask why I wasn't in the side in place of JD bearing in mind how ad he is.
5. Try and off load the awful max ehmer. The guy is toilet. Worst cb since Gary Kenneth and just as big an oaf. Try and off load the other cb from Sunderland as well. Get in a proper tough cb like Jamie turley and make him captain as we have an absence of leaders.
6. Sign someone like James Norwood on loan from Ipswich. A striker who knows where the back of the net is. We can't rely on hanlan who is not a goalscorer despite being a 100 per center. His goals come almost exclusively from the penalty spot. Unless we score goals, we go down. Simple.
7. Play the youngsters.. We have an abundance of young talent at the club who are significantly better than what we put on the field now.. Play them. Hargreaves and mehew were our best players in pre season and are probably the two most talented players at the club. Throw them in now!! Also throw in zain walker, luca Hoole, the young lad Jones from weston and tomlinson. They can't do any worse than this bunch believe me!!!
Follow the above blue print and solve the problem

The way many of Garner's signings were impressed with him, perhaps they believe he should not have been sacked and are having a collective sulk and have embarked on a "go Slow". Similarly Mesure may not be co-operating with Tisdale. I do find it strange that these defenders have played in defensive units with their previous Clubs so would know the general drill but seem incapable at BRFC. Surely Kilgour has not forgotten the guidance from Tony Craig in such a short time. It would be nice to know exactly what has been going on with our renegade Squad.

Has anyone from the club explained why we didn't sign a striker. I know no one will attempt to put positive spin on yesterday's result

Totally agree with you on that Can't believe we've conceded 3 goals in the last 4 games from mistakes on the near post from corners Because in the end their not all bad players so maybe there is a problem between management, coaches and players who have their own agenda and don't give two hoots about the club

Surely they must have also been having a collective silk since just before BG was sacked, as they were pretty poor when we got stuffed 4-1 by Fleetwood? You do wonder if BG sold them a fantastic football experience and it's now sunk what life is like at Rovers, a half built training ground, a pitch surrounded by tents and recently no transfer funds to bring in a striker we desperately needed.

You reckon BG showed prospective players a different stadium and training ground and told them lockdown wouldn't apply to Bristol?

I would say for supporters, what was equally frustrating to today was transfer window as well. They wanted the club to do more business, why didn’t the club bring in more than the two players they signed? Well, there was much discussion, there was much debate and we wanted to do some business. We certainly targeted a few players, but we didn’t get them for a number of reasons and okay, we’ve brought a couple players in over the window but it was our wish maybe to do more. We haven’t been able to do it. I think the board supported that idea, there was no question that there was any reticence from them in terms that we should do something. For whatever reason it hasn’t happened. I think we’ve tried, but it’s something we have to talk about going forwards to the summer of course. It does mean we’ve got a tough few months ahead of us. In the last few days of the window in particular, was there the acceptance that there wasn’t the player or players that you wanted out there available and at the right price? And was that feeling echoed throughout all levels of the decision-making process? I don’t think there was any reluctance to try or to find that player. We spent a lot of time on it, I’m new in and I’m learning the dynamic and how it works, but there was no feeling from me that we weren’t trying to do it and trying to find the right player. It has to be at the right cost, the right player and we didn’t manage it.
It’s known that the club zeroed in on a few names, why do you think those deals didn’t come off? There has to be three parties saying yes to any deal. The club that the player will be leaving, the club he’ll be joining and the player himself, and maybe an agent as well. So all those parties have to say yes and be happy with it for it to be successful, and quite clearly in those cases that didn’t happen.
