Very direct but that may well be a combination of the pitch and tactically seeing we can get in behind their back 4. We've defended very well and have had by far the better chances. Not sure how much of a factor the wind is but hopefully we dont come to regret those missed chances. Game definitely there to win

Referee has made three or four terrible decisions but we should be two up on good chances. Lads all playing well but would think about bringing on Nicholson for Daley.

Good half. Very direct but unlike with Tisdale we’ve actually got a target man up there so a lot more is sticking. Hope we don’t regret not taking one of those chances.
Hope their lad is ok looked a nasty one with no one around him.

Good half from Rovers. Much the better team, but a bit wasteful in front of goal. Woodwork hit twice and some very dangerous moments. Another day 2-0 wouldn't flatter us. 3 points here for the taking. IMO we are set up perfectly for playing against a Gills side that likes to get the big players at the back forward, put 3 strikers up there!

Happy with that , unlucky not be ahead , fingers crossed we go onto win this but I’d also be happy with a point , come on gas !!!!! Its not bad luck. We have had numerous chances to get shots in,and have failed to do so. Our finishing is dreadful Yeah I sort of actually agree with you on this. If you hit the post it’s not unlucky it’s just not quite good enough, the two shots that hit the woodwork weren’t dreadful they were good but not quite good enough, Williams shot was dreadful but he is a defender running on to a fast pass first time shot not many defenders score with that at this level. |

Very happy with that first half. Created the better chances, defended resolutely. Whatever TW is doing with the players, it’s working.
A physical battle and the gills look vulnerable on the counter, we can definitely get something here.

Yeah I’m struggling to reconcile that considering he was the one who was so confident in their technical ability and then when he gets the chance he does his best to coach it out of them. I need to stop trying to figure Rovers out I think. Winning football is winning football and Coughlan showed us we should be careful of what we take for granted! |
