So it appears my chance to be hero or villain has been restored. Gills away is usually a hiding to nothing but here goes anyway. I’ll be positive and predict a 2-1 victory with goals from Ayunga and Hanlan. Come on you blues. Don’t forget it’s a 1PM kick off. I was thinking the same thing about the upstart that was Kansasgas. How dare he come on here and usurp miltongas's chance for fame and fortune by getting 2 in a row! Some of us know that feeling, but some of us are also brought 'down to earth' by the debacle that was Accrington Stanley! Got to be the same starting 11 today. Will be interesting if Max makes the bench and is kept out by a winning team rather than out of the squad injured.
Would like to see a bit more from Sam today or get Rodman or Ozzy on the pitch after an hour if we bypass him the whole game again.

Gillingham is a place we never do particularly well at though I expect we will be buoyed by Tuesday’s win.
Hard fought 1-1 draw, which I would be happy with. Hanlan to score against his previous club.

The Gills. Yet another club with a naff nickname. Things like pirates, the iron, the gunners, all of these are intrinsic to the history of the club and mean something. Nicknames like Wolves, Gills, Shrews, these are merely abbreviations of the place. There are no higher numbers of wolves in Wolverhampton, fish in Gillingham or shrews in Shrewsbury. It’s merely a lack of imagination in their original marketing function. Things like the Robins and the Red Devil’s are similarly just banal observations on the kit. Anyway, that’s it. Enjoy the game. Rant ends. Reminds me of the Two Ronnies late item of news about football clubs having to redesign their badges to reflect the clubs name. Oxford United's badge will be an ox, Swansea will have a swan, Queens Park will have a queen and Notts County will have a knot. Dundee will have a cake, Chelsea will have a bun and Luton will have a loo. Bristol City are in two minds and Arsenal have backed out altogether... |

We have gone from playing one striker to now playing 3 strikers. Love the line up have a go at teams it's the only way.
