Feel sorry 4 Wael the people 2 blame would be Starnes and Widdrington also the 2 coaches Mesure and Maher both should have sacked when Garner left

Ultimately as with any organisation the buck stops at the very top.
Wael will have learnt some very painful lessons this season
I have no doubt his heart is in the right place, but he is responsible for the people around him and perhaps he has been too loyal and not ruthless enough with those offering him the advice.

By convention, the man at the top has to take responsibility, but I don't think that would be fair or realistic. I would say that there are many parts to a season and all those connected should share the blame, whether that is the manager(s), coaches, players themselves, decision makers higher up for appointing them in the first place, even 'lady luck' herself.
Is it lack of goals, inabilty to keep clean sheets or something else?
At the end of the day, if we get relegated we cannot and should not blame any individual, the real failing would be to find a scapegoat and assume things will then improve after feeling better about laying blame elsewhere.
What we need to do regardless of if we go down or stay up, is to have a proper look at ourselves, take the mistakes to heart and work through to rectify them, where possible. Plenty of examples of mea culpa with those directly involved then working to turn it around. Provided those at the club do that, we should be stronger next time.
We have to be honest with ourselves first before we can learn and improve.
