van Stappershoef 5.5: kicking was poor all game. Should of cleared the ball into row z when racing out his box leading to the second yellow.
Williams 6: defended well when in a back 3. Offered little attacking threat when moved to right back with 10 men. Kilgour 8.5 MOTM Harries 7.5: defended well throughout, some misplaced long passes.
Rodman 6: not as involved as saturday. Should of scored at the death. Grant 7: another battling performance. McCormick 4: will learn his lesson, stupid to give the ref the opportunity to give second yellow. Leahy 6: crossing disappointing and poor effort from promising late free kick position.
Westbrooke 7: played well until reduced to 10 men, chasing and battling is not his game, he is a creative player. Nicholson 7: some mazy runs caused problems. Another who faded after sending off. Needed to score when one on one, that chance would of won us the game.
Hanlan 5.5: frustrating night, control not good enough and gave the ball away far to often.
Subs: Daly NOLE Ayunga NOLE Koiki NOLE Ehmer NOLE
Ref 2: less said the better Burton 4

van Stappershoef - 5 - Oh the kicking! Every kick went out for a throw in. Why, Why Why?
Williams - 6 - Probably his worst game for Rovers so far. Kilgour - 6.5 - Few moments where he lost concentration but otherwise ok Harries - 7.5 - looked very solid
Rodman - 7 - Involved in most things made things positive happen. Grant - 7.5 - M.O.M - Had a near-impossible task second half. Needs to practice shooting. Three games now from centre of box he's hit the corner flag of Carpark. McCormick - 5 - Trying a little too hard. Was everywhere and as a consequence made too silly, rash decisions. Cost us three points in a six-pointer game! Leahy - 7 - Okay Game nothing special.
Westbrooke - 6 - Awful set pieces! Nicholson - 6.5 - Okay game nothing special Needed to tuck away the 1v1
Hanlan - 6 - Looks knackered!
Subs: Daly - 4.5 - nole Ayunga - 4.5 nole - Held the ball nicely a few times Koiki - 4.5 - nole Ehmer - 4.5 - nole - Got turned (again)!
Ref - -5 (Minus Five) - Summed up Everything wrong with refereeing! He thought everyone was there to watch him. A little Hitler with the wrong personality traits. As JB pointed out if you book one side for kicking the ball away you have to book the other! I can forgive this and the constant whistling but I detest it when the referee has clearly instructed the lines(wo)man not to flag & to mirror whatever the referee has indicated. This is wrong and you might as well not have lines(wo)man. Burton - 5 - one or two decent players and are going to survive.
