Tuesday is a bit of a freebie. Wigan and Wimbledon play each other. The rest aren’t playing. Another point would be great. Think we’ll beat Plymouth who are on a terrible run. I wouldn’t say any game is a freebie at this stage. If three points are up for grabs, we’ve got to try to do everything to secure them and get us out of this relegation dogfight.

Burton have taken 24/27... They're definitely safe

Ayunga could be a very good prospect, the next Devon White? Hanlon has to stop the falling over annoys me to death! Neither are really at a stage of their career to be in the deep end that they find themselves at this time.

i thought upson did quite well today but periodically. I think the problem is too many struggle to get involved in games for large periods, they have moments where they're influencing things or looking unplayable, then they disappear/are anonymous for 30 mins e.g westbrooke, Nicholson, mccormick. I’d probably agree with that, but then only a few at any level are constantly influencing things. that's a fair point. I think the point I'm trying to make is that they're either brilliant or anonymous, rather than just consistent but occasionally brilliant. Take Nicholson, who is clearly a top player at this level. For 10-15 mins after half time he was unplayable. Then he barely touched the ball for the last 25/30 mins and became a passenger, ditto westbrooke for example. Its a bit all or nothing.

We'll beat Plymouth away next Sat. Another one of your premonitions? 🤡 The odd one gets dragged back up by you, but the hundreds you f**k up never do, funny that? Prediction League would suggest I am not bad at it 😉

Devon White? He was a complete and utter donkey. But effective? Oi! Don’t you dare talk about my hero like that! No defender enjoyed playing against our Bruno. The beauty was you knew he was a gangly awkward mess but he’d win headers and make it a nightmare so Penrice could weave his magic!! He was a bloody useful donkey

Devon White? He was a complete and utter donkey. But effective? 20(?) years ago, you'd hope we'd moved on, footballing wise, since then? Although apart from the obvious not sure what Ayunga as in common with Devon, Ayunga seems more like a JCH type striker.

In fact my pet hamster has a lot more skill than Devon ever had. I remember having a meeting with a Cambridge United supporter who stated " Cambridge " were robbed/ cheated with regards to the Taylor/ White deal. So much so -- He did'nt want to talk with me.

Fair enough, for me we had the best/most chances overall. If their flurry of 15 minutes at the end was at the beginning of the game, we'd have forgotten about it and we frustrated at dropping 2 points. One of those ones where because we could/should have lost it at the end, a draw seems a good result - but over the full 90 I think we were better. But hey ho, our record against the bottom is shocking this season and could well be our downfall. Maybe its a good thing we dont have many 6 pointers left? Northampton W Burton D Rochdale D Swindon L Wigan D Wombles W Rochdale L Wigan L Burton L Wombles D Strangely thats 10 pts from those 10 games, which ties up nicely with our current total of 34 from 34.... So we are pretty much worth a point a game against anyone on average.... So I guess it doesn’t really matter who we play, in theory. I actually have a feeling we do better against the top 8 this season, but could be wrong

There is something about the talent in this squad, we just lack the basics of a goalscorer ,a defensive midfielder and a strong leader at CB .If we can get that then we would be towards the playoffs.
I don't buy into the mindset of us having must win games like today against those around us.
Bottom line is if we get enough points to stay up then it doesnt matter whom they come against. Today is a point gained.

Have to agree with this to be fair, most exciting for me he is two footed.

That was a bit of disappointing result.... when we came out 2nd half I thought we were bright and was going to go on and win it but we then seem to fade after Rodders went off injured.... As the game wore on in the last 10 it was Wimbledon in the ascendancy but luckily Day pulled of some great saves.... a win was preferential but at least we didn’t lose.... we really need to grab a win Tues if we don’t want to get sucked back into the bottom 4 and mire...
