Day 7.5 not always convincing. Could have come to claim a couple late on but also a few crucial saves.
Williams 6.5 combined quite well down the right with Rodman
Kilgour 7 solid
Baldwin 6 some great moments and some highly questionable ones!
Rodman 7 we really missed him when he came off
Upson 6.5 bad mistake nearly cost us
McCormick 6.5 industrious
Leahy 6 relatively quiet game for him
Westbrooke 8 energetic and intelligent performance
Nicholson 7 really threatening when involved. Lost influence later on.
Ayunga 6 couldn’t apply the finish or link the play quite like on Tuesday
Subs: Hanlan 6 not his day. Lacking fitness.

Day 8.5 m o m apart from not commanding 6yard area giving them first chance on goal with free header, he saved us at end and was as worthy as a goal when 1 down. Some great saves, well done. Might prove critical at the end.
Williams 6.5 regulation match and decent in defence.
Kilgour 7.5 decent. Kept Piggott quiet.
Baldwin 7.5 pick of the 3 kept Piggott quiet.
Rodman 7.5 nice play and match turned on his injury.
Upson 5.5 poor backpass almost lost us the match. Not as involved as Accy.
McCormick 6 some wayward shooting, not the best match but ok.
Leahy 6 didn't impose himself, bit still skipped well with no nonsense defending organisation.
Westbrooke 8.5 would be my m o m until he reverted to RWB....WTF?
Nicholson 8 great running and dribbling, shame no finished product.
Ayunga 7 done ok but was physically less effective. One nice tip and run past defender first half.
Subs: Hanlan 5 floor and appealing for fouls was his forte.
Daly 5 struggled to make impact.
Ref 6 questionable pen to them waved away, and showed more cards than the woman that lived in the shoe, tomorrow (mother's day).
Wimbledon 5 agree with JAB a bottom of the table team where we will be disappointed not to win, but in the end lucky not to lose. Draw a fair result.

Day 7.5 Little to do for 75 mins then made some good saves after that but none you wouldn’t expect him to make
Williams 7.5 solid
Kilgour 7 mostly looked ok but beaten too easily by Pigott a couple of times
Baldwin 7 defensively sound but lucky to get away with a few dodgy moments on the ball
Rodman 7 Not as effective as he has been recently but lack of a like for like replacement meant we missed him when he went off
Upson 5 poor
McCormick 6.5 plenty of energy but really needs to work on his composure in front of goal
Leahy 5 offered nothing in attack
Westbrooke 7.5 best footballer on the pitch again. Wasted when forced out wide.
Nicholson 7.5 looked the most likely to force the opening, Also Less effective when forced out wide
Ayunga 6 well marshalled by Dons defence, still young and learning hope we’re not expecting too much.

Day 8 the only reason we didn’t lose the game
Williams 7 solid enough
Kilgour 7 kept a very good striker quiet
Baldwin 6.5 good defending, a few iffy moments on the ball
Rodman 7 involved, does try to make things happen
Upson 5 not at the races today
McCormick 5 he wastes so many chances and boots it upfield when he has acres of space
Leahy 6 not involved at all today
Westbrooke 7.5 creative and bright
Nicholson 7.5 buzzed around a lot but failed to make anything count
Ayunga 6.5 created a few chances, but went missing for long periods
Subs: Hanlan 2 any chance of us winning the game disappeared when he came on and fell over every time the ball came near him

Williams Not much going forward but defended well 7

Baldwin What a performance, good, bad and ugly. 100 effort 7
Rodman Worked hard and we lost our shape when he went off 7.5
Upson sloppy at times and still has the tendency to go back 6
McCormick not his day today, we needed his shooting boots 6
Leahy Quiet in attack today and solid in defence 7
Westbrooke non stop running, neat feet just needed his eye for goal 8.5 MOTM
Nicholson skills unlimited just wouldn't run for him today 8
Ayunga a couple of chances to win it and more subdued today marshalled well by centrehalves 7

Day 8.5 M.o.M. some cracking saves, my only criticism is his reluctance to come of his line Williams 7 a good steady game Kilgour 7.5 tackled well and helped to keep the dangerous Pigot quiet. Baldwin 7.5 as Alf Rodman 7.5 was doing well until his injury,lets hope its not serious as he's become an integral part of the team, Upson 6.5 not as effective as on Tuesday but I wonder the continual two games per week is a bit too much for him. McCormick 6.5 a less productive afternoon Leahy 7 as Williams, steady and reliable. Westbrooke 8 it was only Day's heroics late on prevented him being m.o.m. plus being put to r.w.b. (wtf?) virtually nullified our midfield. Nicholson 7 he was always a thread, Dons often had 3 players marking him. Ayunga 7 won plenty in the air and led the line well, he just need another goal to reward his efforts. Subs: Hanlan 6 he always tries but he,s a bit out of sorts at the moment. Daly n.o.l.e Ref 6 decent, maybe Dons might think he bottled a penalty shout. Wimbledon 6 they did their homework on us, rode their luck in the first half mainly thanks to their keeper and after Rodmans departure could have nicked it. All in all a fair result. |
