Clutching at straws but having played with the predictor a few times I actually think 3 wins, 2 draws and 45 points could be enough to see us stay up.
Provided one of the wins is against Swindon and we take a point from Northampton.
The other 2 wins could come from Crewe and MK Dons at home leaving us to nick a point from any of the other games.
I know the magic number is typically 50 points plus but the points distribution this season means it may be different. (maybe the stat man could find 5 mins to back this up with his skills)

I know its hard to put a positive slant on your situation at the momemt but I will try. You have got 10 games left 6 are at home On the first run of games against the same opposition you got 4 wins and a draw (13 points) is you can match that you will have 47 points which should be enough At least none of the teams you are playing will be able to bring Mahrez, Du Bruynne and Aguero of the bench , every game is winnable
Keep the faith UTG

Teams are so poor down there that 9 points will be enough to stay up. Where they come from who knows

Down and deserved. If we stay up at the expense of any other team in this division it will be a disgrace. We are committing fraud every time we step out on the pitch - we are not a L1 standard team, end of. Worst Rovers team in history. Period. IF we do manage to scramble to safety we'll deserve it simply because we have got more points than 4 more teams. Over a 46 game season you finish where you deserve to

With the influx of overseas players in the top flight the quality of home nation players has increased at lower levels. It might be that Rovers have gone from being a league one level club with a few short stays in the championship. To a league 2 club with a few short stays in league 1.
This is what modern history is suggesting. Especially when you consider Rovers used to finish top ten majority of seasons. Now they have not been inside the top ten this century.
So reverting to a new normal , rovers will get relegated and then spend upto 10 years getting back up again.
So dont be complacent about relegation ,a bounce back is unlikely. Many Rovers fans may never see the team play at league one level again if it happens.
So all i can suggest is to send as many positive and battling messages as you can to the club and team. Let them know they are in a battle and we are with them.

We are very poor, but the table shows that there are 5 others teams just, or very nearly, as poor. We've taken 4 points from the last 5 games. Swindon have taken 3, Wigan and Northampton 7points, Wimbledon and Rochdale 4points like us. We're all as bad as each other it seems. IF we are to get out of this we must take 3 points on Tuesday v Swindon and against Northampton in a few weeks too. Our ten games to save ourselves: March. Swindon H - MUST WIN Sunderland H - can't see anything other than a defeat. There is no Craig effect this season, sadly. April Ipswich A - no repeat of GC's last game - Defeat Doncaster H - we have to find a way to get at least a point Northampton A - MUST WIN Lincoln H - comment as for Donny MK Dons H - ditto Pompey A - Defeat as Pompey under their new Manager duo push for the playoffs May Crewe H - hopefully Crewe will be on their holidays and three points will come our way Blackpool A - ditto re holidays for them, unless they are still in with a shout of the playoffs, can't see any points though. So that's 12 points maximum, more likely 9 or 10. Will that be enough? ?

We're in a relegation scrap and we are there because we have been poor, but so have the other sides around us. We are still above the drop zone and all that should matter is that we stay out of it. UTG

A poor team doesn't suddenly become competitive just because they're playing in the league below. History from plenty of clubs including ours suggests going down again is just as likely.

Would have a chance of coming straight back up if the nucleus of the side was too good for that division. Pre season will have a massive clear out even the contracted players will be gone it will be two seasons before a realistic go at promition is achieved That's at least three wasted seasons since the ipswich game where we were 4 in the table.
