Supposedly Jamie will be signing for us Friday or Monday, depending on whether 'contractual issues' can be ironed out.
He was quite an obvious one having worked with Clarke before, anyone have any thoughts? Seems he's had a few injuries but has also scored a fair few goals.

if it happens it will be no surprise.
the main surprise is that it didn't happened when DC joined us.
I don;t mean to be negative but I just hope he has some 'unknown' irons in his fire, because one big problem with Buckle was that he didn't have enough experience and relied too much on players he had already worked with. Any fool can do that. It;s far harder to find good players you haven;t worked with day in and day out.

To be fair how often do you hear a chairman coming out saying "no formal approach has been made" only for the player in question to be sold almost immediately! |

26 goal top scorer in salisburys conference south promotion side,24 years old,sounds like just the kind of striker we've been lacking for a long time.the downside is he was injured for a lot of last season but did finish strongly with 5 goals in the last 5 games.could be a very good signing as long as we get in some wingers and creative midfielders to supply the front men.
