I dont want to kick it all off again but I really dont see what Barton can do with this. These players just dont seem capable of concentrating. [br Sacking Barton would be ludicrous. Got to give him the summer to sort it out and at least until Christmas to sort this shower of sh**e out.

I'd push walker right up front be looks like he could do something, change Westbrook for Messi Walker (and Daly) would trouble those centre halves and to be honest neither Westbrooke or Hanlon are creating anything. We need to take a chance though, our conversion rate is poor but I do think our young strikers with Jonah leading the line could do something. Good shout, get Daly on for Hanlan

Yet again we've shot ourselves in the foot, every game without fail we give up at least one cheap chance, absolutely shocking goal. Positives Kilgour has been excellent so far up against Wyke, Walker has done very well and we at least look like we can trouble their back 4. Have to get Westbrooke off of set pieces dreadful delivery. Even game so far theres still a result in this for us

Walker is our stand out so far with Ayunga? McCormick and Kilgour doing ok
As soon as I saw Walker come on a few games ago I rate him! Should play every game this season? If Hanlan comes off push Walker up maybe but he would be better in the middle?
Let McCormick take free kicks or Leahy Not Westbrook!!!

It was good to see Barton running back across the pitch after the whistle, it shows a desire to sort things out. Some managers in our position would plod over. My mate in the tunnel said he ran straight into the toilet. That's where I'd do my team talk at half time, as we're in the sh!t at the moment.

Not a formation expert, but I reckon that's a back five. The one on the left is clearly the physio.... It's definitely a BRFC back 5 - motionless.

Not watching this one so swapped commentary to Talk Sport 2 after hearing them in the background on iFollow.
Very complimentary towards Rovers and saying it was a good half from us apart from the usual lapse at the back. Sunderland fortunate to be leading in their opinion but that ‘top’ teams do not need to play well to get results and that’s the difference.

Thought in pre season the kids looked more promising than the main team.

That passage of play where Walker won back the ball after he lost it, ball rolled it through the legs of the Sunderland defender and won a free kick was sublime. Takes some confidence to do that as a 19 year old against a team like Sunderland.

The problem is individual errors that cost us time and time again. Williams was brought in as an experienced defender and then we watch him switch off at a corner, schoolboy defending that he needs to be told is not good enough. He and Leahy often play ok for 80-85 mins but then mistakes cost us through lack of concentration.

Sounds like Hanlan is having his usual type of performance. Not watching him is making me feel a bit better about not buying the match pass.

At corners, with our defence, we should ALWAYS have a man at each post!!!!

I just don’t get it, if he’s injured and it’s affecting his performances, why are we playing him week in week out? Surely Daly, who looked decent in midweek and is injury free, deserves a run of games?

Despite the fact that we are doomed to League 2 due to the lapses of concentration and organisation at the back, and our inability to convert our chances, we are probably only two or three players away from a reasonable team. A leader at the back, and a good experienced centre forward would transform the team, add a quality central midfielder and we would be up the other end of the table. The players show glimpses of what is possible, but we haven't got those experienced heads to knit it all together.

45 minutes, we are desperate for the points and their goalie has not had to make a save. Sorry to say it, but Hanlon does not look good enough for league football. Zain Walker looks quick and has fast feet, why then is the right to wing vacant most of the time? Everyone running like meercats for flicks or hold up play from Ayunga, which are mostly non existent. I don't understand the tactics (again). Yes we are pressing reasonably well, but that's a minimum, isn't it? Rodman, in the commentary, said that at Thursday's team meeting the players aired their grievances and came out rejuvenated.
If so, it's either lack of talent, poor tactics or both. Playing like this will threaten our very status as EFL club.

Who else would you have with our limited strike force?
