To make matters worse I fear we are going on one of those long runs where we can’t even score for 6/7 games. This’ll be three games, next week almost certainly four...

Hanlan has both power and pace, he can make differences like on this action he gets a free kick and a yellow for the defender. He’s not good enough at all. I reckon there would be 10 or 15 better strikers in the conference.

If they've got one man taking the corner and have left two back to mark the one we've left on the half-way line, then we should outnumber them by two (plus Annsi) in the penalty area. Where were they?

Joseph Barton doesn't agree.

I like Hanlan. I see a goalscorer there but his confidence is shot and he's playing with an injury. Players with pace need to play with confidence because the second they stall they are lose their pace.
Haldane was a fairly average footballer but a unique belief that meant he always got the most out of what he had. Which was raw speed.

Joseph Barton doesn’t have a choice. There’s no way Barton would have chosen this front three last August. Barton has done his best to boost the confidence of Hanlan and Ayunga but ultimately they aren’t good enough.

Our defence just stood still.Did they think the whistle had gone as no-one seemed to mark, tackle or try to stop them scoring.

To be fair, he is extremely low on confidence and fitness at the moment, and that's why he's been so poor. Nonetheless even if he was fully fit and firing, I don't think he'd be the man we need to get us out of this mess.

Not with it this half. Only going to get worse from here on in. Half tempted to pop to B&Q.

We never come from behind to win! You can feel the confidence draining minute by minute.

Why aren't we making any subs? Not going to score as we are
