I’m already thinking of next season in league two , nothing to see here today unfortunately but the usual good start , miss a couple of sitters , defensive error by us , then Ipswich go and score. I’ll be giving this a miss today as I’ve got other plans , I can honestly say that this is the first time supporting the gas that I haven’t watched / listened to them live , I just don’t want it to ruin my king weekend. Hopefully I’m punished and we win but I’ll happily take my chances.

Ipswich have scored 5 goals in their last 6 games. With 6 days off and plenty of time on the training pitch JB would have worked on a system based on their poor goal scoring record. Maybe a 4-5-1 and concentrate on basics to get that clean sheet secured. Typical Garner tactics, we desperately need a win so you're going to play one upfront against a team who are finding it hard to score, no wonder you're still out of work. Hah - rumbled at last! Most of Garners wins came with two up top. Hanlan and Daly. I chose 4-5-1 as stopping the other team scoring is the basic rule of any relegation avoidance. Let’s see what Joey does. |

I'm feeling a little bit less apathetic about the gas after a week without a midweek game and Mr Al Qadi's letter. I haven't watched since the Plymouth match, but tempted to today (partly because it's cold and I've got nothing better to do!) Ipswich are nothing to fear, hopefully we'll be refreshed and put in a committed performance.

Well it was only around 7:00 and the match is at 3:00?  My wife said "let's go out for a walk today" and I couldn't find a decent reason not to! Just hoping it's to a place with no phone signal? First match I'll miss since September, but both head and heart can't see anything other than a 2-0, or 3-0, loss! However, hope also gets a say in this one and thinks we might sneak a 0-0, or 1-1, draw, but, as they say, it's the hope that kills you! UTG. Today I’m hoping Ipswich have to work hard for their goals. We have given far too many goals away from set-pieces and individual errors. I’m expecting a comfortable win for Ipswich but I would like to see us defend properly for a change.
