Barton Stays, this is not even up for discussion even if we go down. because we cannot afford any severance pay as there is no money in the kitty

I didn't want him here at our club in the first place for obvious non footballing reasons. On the pitch I've seen nothing that has made me change my mind and as far as I can see he's taken us backwards. His constant complaining and whining in the press is getting boring; he's really doing nothing to endear himself to us doubters. HOWEVER I don't actively want him sacked because I'm fed up of the upheaval and we need some stability, albeit I wouldn't be upset if he was to leave.
Anyone who wants him to stay for footballing reasons is basing that on blind faith.

you need to get a life-he's staying because we need him to rebuild a team we will be proud of.

Yep, there it is - first official thread calling for his head. Terrible appointment - one season wonder. Done nothing but moan and slate everyone. Somehow, against all the odds, has made us worse!!!! Had a week on the training ground this week and he's lowered the standard of the players by another 3 to 4 divisions. Put and end to this madness. BARTON OUT! Edit: Perhaps silly to assume we spent it training actually. Maybe we were watching more YouTube montages or getting psychologists in to... make us worse. Mate give it a rest

They were tough to beat and played some nice football. Faith is the answer people give when they dont have a good reason.

Faith is the answer people give when they dont have a good reason. imo what he achieved with Fleetwood was about par taking into account budget etc. Id absolutely love him to prove me wrong, I really would. I was hoping BG would prove me wrong this season after the mess he made of last year but we all know what happened there! Yes he has inherited a sh#t squad but he has taken us backwards and after ten games I don't see evidence of us being being 'tough to beat'. Jury has to be very much out, hence my view that its based on faith. He's never managed at league two level nor does he have experience of rebuilding a side for a promotion push in the way we'll have to this summer.

Possibly the mod who started the out thread. Very sad! Shouldn’t be allowed that power IF that’s the case.

Would the mods like to message me or say on here why you decided to lock the Barton in thread?

Just another pathetic attempt by Roverdrive to draw attention to his obvious dislike of the appointment from the minute it was made.

Has a free week on the training ground and decided to give the players Monday and Wednesday off!!. I would say that is negligent and should be struck off. If you want to give me a call Joey no problem. Today we need a goal he doesn't bring on the only striker on the bench and takes a striker off. Please explain his thinking?.
