Half time I'd swap Oz for Westbrook We have a chance here On what basis? Westbrook set up McC for his goal and also Hanlan's chance, I can't see on recent form Ozt will do any better. |

Funny old world - People on here use to moan about getting the youth or fringe players on the field and when JB picks them they have a go - Poor f**ker cant win I think the issue is playing Hanlan upfront alone tbh had a good first half mind |

It’s awful analysis isn’t it. Hanlan has no vision, touch or composure. I think he’s played well didn’t do a lot wrong with that effort brought it down and hammered it low and hard very good save by the keeper. Don’t get me wrong I think that after a decent first half to the season he’s been very poor this year but he’s playing well today. Not picking him out for that effort on goal I think that was a decent save. Whenever we get it up to him if his first touch does make it stick he runs back towards the defence. Three times now he has had midfield runners go past him after his first touch and he is oblivious to it. No peripheral vision. Maybe I’m being too harsh, probably lacking confidence, I just think Daly is the better option. Can we lump it to Daly though? Probably not. |

Barton looks fitters than some of them - and I mean well fit Just driven back from Surrey mate - Bit knackered but got my bottles of Merlot and loads of vape juice hard work driving to the mem for every home game to see this shower of sh#t - glad someone else understands how tiring it is. Tom Nichols was 10x the player Hanlan is. For his lack of goals, Tom Nichols was brilliant at creating and bringing others into play. Hanlan on the other hand halts every single attack by knocking his first touch half-way down Gloucester Road Just give it a rest, Hanlan's clearly giving his all playing upfront on his own, with his first half performance was probably the best for weeks. Can’t wait for this ‘best performance in weeks’ to keep us up at the end of the season. We need results, now. Hanlan and Westbrooke have been atrocious and ought to be hooked. |

Overall we've actually played ok although reading through the match thread you wouldnt believe it. Yet again one slip (more unfortunate than a defensive mistake) and we concede apart from that they've been restricted to very little. Hanlan and Baldwin really should both score but at least we've shown some fight, we didnt cave in went we went behind.
Massive 45 minutes coming up, we simply have to find a way to win this, taking Westbrooke off of set pieces might be a decent start !!!

Otzumer has been crap for us I know we’ve seen him tear it up for Walsall but that was a long time ago and for us he reminds me of K Bennet , just brings it down kills the tempo and plays a 5 yard pass to the nearest man , it doesn’t actually get us anywhere. Westbrookes set pieces have mostly been poor today but playing as an attacking midfielder he creates so much more than Oz has all season. |

Think Hanlan has done ok today. Much better than the last few games but it's a pretty low bar to start with so don't get me wrong he's not been fantastic! Think the chance is smothered well by the keeper, tough to score after the first touch. Having said that, the first touch should probably be better which perhaps is worthy of the criticism.
But let's be fair, Ayunga hasn't done a lot the last few games and I actually think we look better now with one up top with Westbrooke/Leahy/Walker/Macca running in behind and playing off Hanlan. Think Ayunga probably suits that role better though.
Positives to take but it's past the point of that being anywhere near enough. We need points. Big 45 coming up, game is there for the taking (like it seems to be every week and we always F It up!)
