One to savour. Torquay in better form, being 1 point behind with 1 more game played. Hartlepool also doing well too. Be interesting to see who ends up going up.

Unless there are wholesale changes to the squad, we will be relegated again next year. Unfortunately, most are contracted to be with us next season.

Seen boll@$%# already that we are going to pi$$ this league really is unclassy and we need to realise that we have lost 25 games, not scored in 21 games, so the best we could get was a draw, and we are shot at defending. If we dont get some attacking options we are going one way

Oh well - easy local trip to Crawley for me to see TN score three, and TC help keep a clean sheet, against us no doubt

Hard to dissagree with this I think the physicalness of league two alone will be too much for most of our squad. Looks like we will be carrying a lot of dead weight if we can't offload some.

One thing's for sure. It wont be easy. This is now our level unfortunately. I think this is a really interesting point. I, and am sure many others, see League 1 as 'our level', which makes dropping into League 2 always seem really depressing. But if we are being brutally honest, League 2 probably is our current level, at least until we can progress off of the pitch. If our mindset changes and we accept that as 'our level' then the stints in League 1 and subsequent relegations would be a lot less painful.

I think I’ll take the pain of being relegated to League Two, if that ambition of truly establishing ourselves as a good League One side again remains. To me, the thought of losing that and accepting a mid table League Two status is the height of unambition. This isn’t me saying we will win the league next year, because the reality is we won’t, however we need to set that target of bouncing back at the first attempt, the longer we remain in League Two, the harder it will become. Plymouth and Coventry have done it in recent years, with Tranmere and Bolton looking likely to do it this year. We need to get ourselves into that bracket of clubs.

The positive thing about L2 is there are 4 promotion spots. It will take a big rebuild job but even if we start badly then we've got a lot of opportunity to catch up. Unlike the conference where there was less margin for error. I'm optimistic that it won't take us too long as think Wael will give enough backing to get us back up but under no illusions that it won't be easy and I will review again after the summer's activity.
