Have watched every match this season. Do not see why many people think that next season will be better. Ideally need to get rid of every player apart from one or two. However this can't happen because of existing contracts. Do not see how Barton will be able to recruit enough effective players to avoid a relegation battle. Also a concern as to how his court case could impact on pre-season. Hope and pray that I am wrong. Still looking forward to getting back to the 250 mile round trip to the Mem on Saturdays no matter how things turn out.

Bottom by 5 points, a completely inept Bod and a manager with one of the worst records in our history to date. Keep burying your head in the sand. How anyone can possibly predict anything for next season without having the first idea what our squad will look like is beyond me. That's not burying my head that's just common sense

Can anyone at all see any positives to take from 2020-21?
Covid, lockdowns, pubs closed, no fans, relegation by some distance, abject surrender at the end of the season, no goals, no defence, three managers each doing worse than the last, no stadium news and Line of Duty being very disappointing. Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey.
What did I miss?

A team full of giants who know the dark arts. No foot danglers who shirk a tackle. See if craig fancies coming back to start the spine with annsi Plymouth and Crewe both came up playing good football last season. Northampton came up playing a more direct style. So you don’t need a team full of giants.

We are so lucky to have Joey at the helm. He knows exactly what he wants to get us back in League one again. We are in for a very exciting season and we will be coming straight back up, no doubt about that. He will get the crap players out and bring committed players to this club who will be proud to wear the shirt. The majority of the fanbase is behind him and I won't be surprised to see 8-10,000 at our first home game. Really excited for the future with somebody in charge who actually knows what he is doing! Hold on tight for an exciting season with a team that can score goals and actually defend. Happy days to come and the Mem will be rocking come August!

Surely it will take about a dozen games before a team of new players begin to gel? It will probably be December until the team get-going. I'm hoping we might do a Bolton. Providing proven goalscorers will want to join Rovers. Oh well, must remain optimistic!

Keep criticising without giving JB at least the summer and 10 or so games to get his team playing as he wants. Everyone's hurting but let's see how the summer pans out and get behind the club yeah

Not as ridiculous as your constant criticism of JB, given he's clearly not going anywhere this summer what are you going to do come August, still carry on criticising him even if he signs some decent looking players who perform well in our preseason games?

Yes, we're so lucky to have been taken from 18th to 24th in the last 17 games. I count my lucky stars every day for that. Honestly, I don't get it? I genuinely do not get it?

What a ridiculous post. Garner had never managed in the league before he came to us and probably never will again. Tisdale had many years at Exeter with one promotion to League one and from the Conference. Relegations from. Leagues one and two. A promotion for MK Dons to League one. Barton in his 4 years or so has had one relegation (us) and consistently kept Fleetwood in the top half of League one and made the playoffs the season before the one that has just ended. Those facts make your comments about JB, totally ridiculous!

I will keep on criticising him, every time I come on here, as long as he is destroying this club. When he joined we weren’t even in a relegation position...we have been relegated with the lowest points total in the league, 10 points from safety, so JB took us from 4 points above relegation to bottom by 5( five ) points with a truly mind blowing 11 (eleven) points from a possible 48 (forty eight) I am not the one with a problem, it is people like you who are willing to tolerate this absolute garbage from the worst manager in the history of world football...and why exactly would anyone, any good be willing to sign for one of the most disliked, despised, reviled, disrespected coaches/managers/players in the game.

I don't have a problem with JB, I definately do have with BG, TW and to a lesser extent PT. I definately have a problem with the likes of you posting ridiculous comments. One thing's for sure I will be at the Mem next season cheering on JB's team, no doubt by the way you feel you certainly won't be there and I am pleased about that.
