Sounds like its complicated.... Surely you'll at least get your money back though.... Personally I've never been to an England game since England v Poland world cup qualifying for 1990 (3-0)... Got the tickets months in advance and then it conspired it was the same day rovers were away to vale in the playoff final.... Found out rovers result whilst in a traffic jam getting out of Wembley.... It was a long drive home.... How come you haven't been since then? I should get the money back eventually, issue is the bank account closed and UEFA are saying they didn't get a bounce back. So its constant arguing with two incompetent organisations. It doesn't help that the bank account is abroad, from when I was living abroad.. After I tried to get tickets for euro 96 and got nothing I gave up.... And at least if I watch it on the telly with friends its the one day ever i can occasionally agree with my Ted mates....

Yeah fair enough. These days it’s fairly easy, they have a caps system so 1 home game = 1 cap and 1 away = 2 caps. The higher caps you have the high chance you have for tournament games. A lot of the members have about 40+ caps on there, but I managed to get all my tickets approved with 3 caps. I had to pay the top tier pricing though.. In theory though it’s easier now, there are about 12k members and before reduced capacity, we were allocated 12k at Wembley.. Fairly easy to build my caps up being in London though, can’t imagine I’d go often if I wasn’t local

Lingaard out apparently. I’d be very surprised if Southgate dropped him.
I like Lingaard a lot, his movement is exceptional

But in his 16 games at West Ham he’s scored 9 and had 4 assists. He’s got decent experience with England and offers something different. He wouldn’t be in my starting 11, but on form I do believe he deserves a place. If Mount had that ratio in the last 16 games we’d be going crazy over him

Looking forward to the tournament.
I know the nation usually gets excited for the tournaments regardless, but I have high hopes for this squad.
I genuinely believe this group of players is the best we've had for many a year.
We genuinely have a bunch of young lads who are up there with anyone in the World, and at 20,21,22 they're already doing it on the big stage.
We had the odd ones like Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney but the rest of the 'Golden Generation' were all 25/26 before we saw the best of them.
The likes of Reece James(I've seen his development 1st hand, from an 18 year old on loan at Wigan in The Championship, playing Central Midfield and winning both their Young Player & Player Of The Season, to now being the best complete all round full back) at just 21, Mason Mount at just 22, dictating and being an influence in the biggest games and Phil Foden too. Those 3 are up there with the very best from anywhere in the World
You only have to look at the progress England are making where we're debating whose the best RB and which of the 4 should be on the plane, and Wan Bissaka can't even get in a 33 man provisional squad.
Then there's Sancho and Bellingham getting plaudits at Dortmund.
I genuinely believe we can get to another Semi Final this time, but this squad can be together for the next 3 to 4 tournaments.
Bring it on.

My main worry about this Euros is our general capability to beat top teams and the route after the group stages: 1st place Vs 2nd in group F: England Vs France/Germany/Portugal 2nd place Vs 2nd in group E: England Vs Spain/Sweden/Slovakia 3rd place Vs winner of B, C or E: England Vs Belgium (B) / Netherland (C) or Sweden/Slovakia (E) Looks like coming 2nd is the best thing to happen, on paper.

Don't think you can win a major International tournament with a keeper of Pickfords calibre. He's ok but not good enough to win. I'm still in 2 minds about Southgate, I agree, but he's certainly better than Sven, Mclaren, Capello and Hodgson however and he did take us to a Semi Final last tournament so deserves another crack.

Criminal if he’s not taking Trent imo. I know the right back spot is a difficult one, in recent weeks James has really made an impression on me and I would probably start him ahead of Trent but if we were behind I would definitely want Trent on that pitch ahead of them all.
Also, great young squad. Wasted with Southgate in charge.

For me, Southgate is a huge reason for our chance of success not the other way around. The continuity from the youth levels to first team is invaluable. We could have pep but would do worse imo.

Yeah, there are some very good teams. I think we can get to another Semi Final this time, and build on that for future tournaments. Belgium were my favourites but De Bruyne looks like he could be out and Hazard has been unfit for 2 years. So it'll be interesting how they fare because they're 1st team is quality but squad wise, it's not that great in depth. France will be there or thereabouts, great Defenders, the immortal Ngolo Kante and Mbappe will take some stopping. Portugal/Germany/Holland possibly as well. But we've got nothing to fear, I think not having a top keeper and possibly Central Defence will be our problem, but the talent we have in Midfield and Attack, teams are going to fear us, and a lot of the young lads will hopefully play without fear and just go out and express themselves. I'm really looking forward to it.

I don’t think Pickford did anything wrong on our way to the semi finals at the last world cup and deserves his place. Those behind him in the pecking order don’t really stand out as top drawer - certainly not compared to the top class keepers we’ve had over the years (Banks, Shilton, Clemence, Seaman etc). Agree about the other recent managers who have been a major let down - the best in my lifetime have been Robson (who was hated by fans and press in his six years in the job!) and then Venables & Hoddle who should have stayed in the job longer. Technically Southgate did “take us to a semi final” although in my eyes we got there in spite of him and not because of him. Our route to the semi final was easy and the tournament was a gift with the way the biggest sides dropped out one by one - we’ll live to regret not getting to the final at the very least. I don’t want to get to a crunch knockout out game again and watch Southgate look like a rabbit in headlights again and make no tactical or personnel changes whilst we whimper out of the tournament.

What is your take on what happened in the WC semi final? He did absolutely nothing to counter the changes the opposition made and the game just slipped away and we disappeared without any sort of fight. Gallant losers, heads held high, blah, blah......

Disappointed Lingard ain't going he is in form, we can't have 4 right backs so I would drop Trippier, and although I like Liverpool Jordan hasn't played, Maguire injured so I would leave them out. Probably Ben white and Aaron Ramsdale as well, Greenwood already out injured.

Probably Ben white and Aaron Ramsdale as well, Greenwood already out injured. I too would leave Trippier behind, I think TAA, James and Walker all offer an alternative be it right sided defence or right sided midfield. I think the ability of those players to be flexible is a strong point and gives our team much better options, for a long time we have always been a very predictable side.
