Yep ,Gallery still there i believe, although don't want to distract from James Bracey , Jack(MBE), one of my all time sporting heroes, an individual who never followed 'the crowd', awe inspiring behind the stumps, 'unorthodox and cussed as a batsman', great example for James to follow who technically is a much better bat's man. Unfortunately the gallery has now been turned into a wine bar. A former colleague (and close friend) of mine created the Jack Russell signage purely as a favour to the great man. Wether another gallery was set up elsewhere after it had shut down is anyone’s guess. Best of luck to the boy Bracey in his Glos & England career.

The Gas enjoyed a significant amount of irreverent coverage on Test Match Special yesterday afternoon. The TMS team were discussing Bracey's background and his fanaticism to Bristol Rovers got a comprehensive response - (mainly sympathy!!!)

One of the commentary team is a Ted, hence the conversations with Vaughan trying to wind him up about the gasman.

Well, that was disappointing! A 6 ball duck! Oh well there’s always the 2nd innings. 😂

Never mind James. You,be got the second innings to come. Dig in and show 'am what for. Already the comments are that other players like Buttler will be available. If James played for Surrey or Kent, he would definitely be in the next game.

That's the nature of the game i am afraid, you do not get a second chance and if your lucks out that's it, plenty of world class bat's men have had ducks in there first test match so all is not lost.

He's only getting his own back for me taunting him for Rovers FA Cup win against them in 1984!

Awful time to be making your debut games for England ... Could have done with some more senior pros in the dressing room to support him.
Crawley , Sibley , Pope all too worried about their own place in the team to help out our young man.
To be fair ... he could do with a few England Lions tours before the big stage as he must be fifth / sixth choice when all the usual suspects are available again.
Fingers crossed the lad contributes in the second innings... felt for him yesterday.

Brring Brrring “Yes?” “Can I speak to James Bracey please?” “He’s just gone into bat for England!” “Oh, I’ll hang on then”
