I seriously hope that Kilgour will not be on that list of players going. I believe he has a bright future.

I suspect he won’t have had his contract paid off if he’s about to sign for someone else. It might just make it go through easier. We might feasibly have to top up his wage but hopefully not by too much.

Normally states mutual consent , to state terminated is unusual! Has he done something wrong (apart from being crap ) Most of the Garner signings who have been released from their contracts early have been ‘terminated’ rather than ‘mutual consent’ From reading the secret footballer in the past I get the impression that mutual consent means come to a reduced fee whereas terminated means paid off in full. Because of transfer embargo Gillingham were only allowed to sign out of contract players, hence Ehmer and Tutonda had their contracts ended.

Right decision, sounds like he has an opportunity in Scotland so go luck to him. Can't be doing with all the "he's crap" about every player, seems like a decent enough bloke, good defender on his day by too many errors and didnt work out here. We move on with the trimmed squad we need to achieve.

Shows Joey was telling the truth about having to play players who have no future here, but Kilgour was fit to play? can't be a good omen for kilgour if he can't get a game ahead of a player who the manager doesn't want/think is good enough! Imo this shows a distinct lack of planning - how Can we be in a position whereby Baldwin has started the last few games but is now released on a free? Bizarre situation.

I wonder how much that cost? What ever it was it was worth it. 😉

No fan of JB, but giving him and Harries their last chance to prove they are good enough? He did say he was doing that with some players (Westbrooke too?)

This wouldnt have cost much if anything, hes agreed to a termination so he can sign elsewhere. This player arrived with some pedigree but I agree with people on here he just wasnt upto it. I dont think he'll be much kop in the Scottish Prem either

They've got the lad Taylor from Stoke who hasn't had a look-in since he made one mistake against opposition from a higher league. By the same token most of the first XI should be dropped next week... I don't see the point of loan players unless they improve the starting XI.

I seriously hope that Kilgour will not be on that list of players going. I believe he has a bright future. They said he had a virus where he’d lost 5kg. Then they brought him back too soon in the role of right back, which he had played before but never looked that comfortable. Since then they’ve been careful with him as maybe the virus took a bit more out of him than they thought and the player himself would like to admit.

I remember seeing Jack on the Sunderland documentary where an episode was following his dodgy form and criticism from the fan base. I was more than a bit sceptical when he signed and he was everything the Sunderland fans said he was.

If we get a few injuries, people will say, why didn’t we have cover.

Now made 311 appearances and scored 17 goals.
Previously made two big money moves.
It just did not work out with us.
A shame. Good luck in Scotland, Jack and family.

I'd rather have our own young lads appearing on the bench for cover, loans imo are pointless unless they are brought here to play and im sure their parent clubs will agree
