Been thinking about this, not experienced but highly rated Liam Rosenior Rooneys assistant at Derby might fancy it.
Would try for john Coleman though but I thought Ray Graydon and Paul Buckle were good appointments ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ on paper

On paper Joey Barton was a good appointment too - proven track record with experience at this level, widely respected, someone who would unite the fan base and bring supporters back to the mem after covid, suits the family club ethos, no distractions. Funny how it hasn't worked out.

Alex Neil
Come on Alex. None of this silly talk of heading to Scotland. Pointless league (sorry Jock)
Get your arse down to Bristol and re-ignite yourself, fans will be behind you, and we are a lovely bunch most of the time.

What is Joe Kinnear up to nowadays?? Got a double promotion ala DC with Luton Town and seemed a wise head at Wimbledon and Newcastle! How about Ron Atkinson. He is probably available now the TV work has dried up. Maybe a DOF role with Paul Ince or Sol Campbell as manager. What could go wrong?

Not particularly Rovers relevant however some have said they would like him... not sure if this is just a rumour but... Whereโs he going?! Not really sure but it says: "Flynn said he needed to consider his future after the agonising play-off final defeat to Morecambe in May but stayed on to start the new campaign, bringing in 15 players in a busy recruitment drive. However, the Argus understands that the manager will not finish the season and this weekend will be his final act in the Rodney Parade hotseat." "The manager has also been angered at the clubโs training facilities after having to prepare for games at Undy AFC and Caerleon AFC rather than their Spytty Park base, which is soon to be used by Newport RFC."
