Keep trying Vinney, so far you've suggested Westley who was last seen taking Newport on a course for certain relegation to the Conference, Ardiles and Molby who have not managed in this country for 27 and 17 years respectively, and Conte who was last seen winning Serie A with Inter. One day you might suggest someone even remotely suitable! Edit: I've now seen you've also suggested Joe Kinnear. Have you woken up this year from an extended period of hypersleep? If so, just to catch you up, the year is 2021, the world in general and in football has moved on quite a lot since those heady days of the late 90's and early 00's. Don't worry, I would say we've come a long way since then, but sadly we haven't! Maybe we could bring back Ian Atkins for old time's sake? Seems a bit of a nasty thing to say and congratulations on hurting my feelings. I am only trying to help god damn it! And Atkins signed some great players so I feel uncomfortable you tarnishing his name. Perhaps a more sensible suggestion would help your cause.

Ardiles spotted checking in to a premier inn on edge of Walsall. It could be happening! Bugger me. I thought you were joking. I was actually in that same hotel on saturday and had a chat with him. He is definitely interested in the job and he also asked me to pass on his regards to his old mate "Vinneygas " I take it all back.

I presumed that you are on a windup, and in all honesty I still have a suspicion that you are. If not, then I apologise for hurting your feelings. However in my humble and honest opinion, your suggestions of candidates are not credible. If you disagree with me, fine. Much better tone and content. I will accept your apology and we can move on from this. Another thought i had was the promising stints Steve McMahon had at Swindon and Chris Waddle at Burnley. Two creditable contenders right there!

I always thought aswell that Stuart Ripley the ex Boro and Blackburn right winger would make a fantastic manager.....the guy just needs an opportunity and a fair crack at the whip! Do you think it would be worth approaching the 90's blonde bombshell? I imagine we wouldn't find too many people on here that disagreed that he ticked the majority of the boxes!? Imagine the bristol live headline... RIPLEY OF THE ROVERS!!!

Imagine the bristol live headline... RIPLEY OF THE ROVERS!!! Well obviously I googled him after your ringing endorsement and I see he's got a first class honours degree in Law and French (albeit from a dodgy Uni) and is now a solicitor. So well done him. Not really relevant as a recommendation for our next manager though, of course. Still, keep tossing them in. It's entertaining to read, I suppose.

What is wrong with trying to delve to root of the problem and attempting to come up with a solution? For what its worth former Wednesday and Forest midfielder Chris Bart-Williams with ex QPR and Coventry striker Roy Wegerle as his assistant could just be the dream ticket we need and a combination that could eventually see us achieve Premier League football. People like you who always crave the holloways and tisdales of this world (bookies favs time and time again) remind me of the saying "play stupid games and you win stupid prizes" Bart-Williams and Wegerle have the experience to piece together a cohesive unit with a raw passion to succeed and if Ossie is done with the game I feel they would be my first choice to take the helm! UTG!!!
