He’s right about the positivity. If the crowd turn we have no chance. He knows tomorrow is a massive game for him and one he mustn’t lose. He’s also right about us being careful what we wish for in regards to Wael. You cannot doubt his desire to do well here, it’s whether he actually has the management skills or is the right fit to do the job that needs doing. I hope the fans do get right behind the team tomorrow, regardless. I’ve experienced a toxic Mem atmosphere enough to know it doesn’t do the players any favours. Whatever the result I’ll be going to Bradford with my son next week for his first Gas game, hoping to God that we don’t get hammered!! UTG! Agree with this , those that go should support from the ko but likewise , if they’re served up a load of old tripe like Saturday they are more than entitled to vent their frustrations at the end . Talk is cheap .

Well that was certifiably batshit. Every reference, even the ones about Rovers history, carefully planted, ended up being about him. It was obviously rehearsed - his way of proving how much he cares and how much time he's invested in learning about the history of the club. F**k off Joey - you know NOTHING about this club and it's fans. If you honestly gave half a f**k you'd walk away.

Why does he compare his record to 40 games prior to his arrival?
He's been in charge for 30 games, why not compare his record to the 30 games before he took the job?
Also, he only talks about wins, has he forgotten you also get a point for a draw.
Anyone know how many points we've achieved in Bartons 30 league games and how many points we managed in the 30 leagues games before he took charge?
I'm guessing he didn't compare that period because it shows we've got worse. Saying 40 games just gives him the opportunity to say improvement is still possible.
He's also not factoring in that 10 of his 30 games have been in L2.

Is that the current avenue he is going down - working for free? We are so lucky and immensely grateful for the amount he is putting himself out for us and we may get an extra win in the next 10 games which our Shaman says will be progress.
Dreamer, you know you are a dreamer. Well, can you put your hands in your head? Oh no.

As an atheist, if he turns things around and takes us up to as yet unheralded heights ( 5th in the championship) then I will believe …… I WILL BELIEVE, HALLELUJAH! PRAISE THE LORD.

Well, the man himself said it. Our club is the biggest laughing stock of any club in the football league. I genuinely believe that. Others might be in more trouble financially than us, but we're sh**e due to nothing other than all round incompetence. We're like an ongoing slapstick comedy skit. We actually are a laughing stock. Listen to the D3D4 podcast or any of the other ones covering League Two over the past few weeks and you will hear them laughing at us, or Barton in particular. They can't believe how he's still in a job.

Say JB is sacked if we lose Saturday, would he be the first manager in the entire football league to get the boot?
Could be a number of reason that he hasn't been sacked yet. If we lose tomorrow and get battered like we did at Orient and Swindon then I think he will be gone imo.

This is getting more painful week by week, if he's doing it for free get rid of him now. We haven't had success as a club. We've been f*cking better than the sh1t show you've produced.

He said he was working for free , not he was prepared to …..I think ? Or is he just saying the wage is so pitiful compared to what he’s previously earned it feels like he’s working for free ? 😵💫
