How the fu£k are we losing this? Never a pen, I can’t believe how much space Grant has got all the time he should have scored. They don’t look like a side who have kept 4 clean sheets on the trot, massively open to me, 3 - 1 Gas win incoming 👍. I take full credit for the win, called it that they were sh** at the back and so it came to pass 👍. Ok only 2 - 1 but that do ul fo for me! COYB! What a load of cobblers 😁!

3 points All over them first half and comfortable with 10 men Amazing team spirit A massive shift by every single player Came from behind against a questionable penalty.
Get behind this team. Joey Barton’s Barmy Army.

I thought Joey said we had to wait until Christmas before the team would gel. Christmas has come early. Well done Gas a brilliant performance

Despite people's thoughts on JB I personally can see the fighting spirit, desire to win that JB has tried so hard to bring to all us Gasheads..... I predicted 2-1 and a tough battle.
We deserve this today so have a beer and enjoy your weekend. 14th in the table in early November but all to play for 😉⚽😉

Try not to moan about refs but my god that ref!! Great win and a very enjoyable watch utg Always better to moan about them after a win rather than a defeat but he was absolutely dreadful. That was 2 very big 50/50s that went against us with the penalty and sending off. Great resolve from the team to still go on and win.

Until the harsh sending off that's the best we've played all season in my opinion. We were positive from the start, passing was quick and accurate, we dominated possession and territory. On the balance of play we deserved to be a goal up at HT not a goal down. However, heads didn't drop and we continued to force Northampton back before eventually scoring the goals our play deserved. Whelan looked like he pulled out of the challenge so the sending off was very harsh in my opinion. We still held on fairly comfortably until a couple of nervy moments in injury time. If we can keep this improvement going the play off's might not be the unrealistic target they looked a few weeks ago.
Josh Grant MOTM. Best performance he's had in a Rovers shirt and has to be considered our first choice left wing back now.

Fantastic performance.
Wasn’t feeling too fussed that I’m due to miss the rearranged Tranmere fixture but that has swung around after that showing.
Fills me with great optimism for the future.
Can’t forget to mention the scenes in the East Terrace and the dugouts when Evans hit the net.

That's was the nearest I've seen to an 80s style football match recently.
Full blooded football and some of the tackling from both teams was rather tasty.
Totally enjoyed it and a deserved win. We would definitely have lost that match a year ago.

Just got back from the game.
Wow, what an afternoon! I so needed that! :-)
I felt we were the better team throughout the game, and thoroughly deserved to win.
Josh Grant was superb, fully deserved his goal and man of the match. Dangerous on the left side of the park, full of energy and creativity.
Connor Taylor was magnificent at the back as always. Fantastic goal-line clearance to seal the three points right at the death. He was unfortunate with the penalty, looked soft from the South West stand.
James Belshaw with his usual excellent performance in goal.
Sam Nicholson ran his socks off.
Glenn Whelen had a good game, what excellent distribution he has. Superb balls out to Grant. Felt his sending off was a bit harsh, was a wild sliding tackle though.
This was a superb team performance, you could really see the hunger and desire out there.
Finally, it was so good to hear The Mem loud again today, the atmosphere was rocking.
Like I said, I so, so needed that!
UTG.
